When George Harvey entered the in-between world, he knew that he was dead, and everything he had ever done whilst he was living, he instantly began to regret! So he went to visit the person who ran that world, the greeting he got wasn't exactly the one he wanted but he knew he didn't deserve any better after everything he had done and for the first time EVER, he hung his head in what can only be described as shame!
He was deeply ashamed of how he had lived his life and of the path he had chosen which had led to him becoming a serial murderer! His final victim had been fourteen-year-old Susie Salmon! He had lured her into a pit he had built in a cornfield, raped and brutally murdered her, taking her from her family and friends and everyone who loved her! More than anything, George wanted to go back to earth and live his life a hell of a lot differently to what he had.
