Chapter 2

The party was now in full swing. There was easily 100 people there with music playing all night. Eva had had more than a few beers and was dancing with Chris on the dance floor to 2U. "I love this song" Eva shouted. Chris laughed. He couldn't believe how drunk she was but it was fine as long as she didn't get into any trouble. Chris was on his third beer while Eva was on her fifth. "I'm gonna head to the bathroom. Are you gonna be alright for 2 minutes?" Chris asked half serious half joking. "Yes of course I'll be fine. Go pee" Eva said and went back to dancing. Chris took the opportunity and took the been bottle out of her hand. "Hey that was mine!" Eva whined. "Yap. It was. Now it's mine cause I'm cutting you off for the night Mohn." He said and left a pouting Eva on the dance floor to go to the bathroom.

Eva felt someone tap her on the shoulder. She turned around and saw one of the penetrators. She couldn't remember his name. "Hey. I'm rob, the penetrator. Wanna dance." He said already grabbing her by the waist and pulling her close. "Sure why not my dance partner left." She said laughing. It was just a dance, what's the worst that could happen? Suddenly he started kissing her. She didn't really want this but she was too drunk to push him away. He pushed her into a wall and his hands started to move where she did not want them. "Stop that's enough" Eva said but he ignored her. Eva tried to get away but he was too strong. Suddenly Rob was thrown in the ground. "She said stop are you deaf or just an ignorant ass?" Chris was fuming. He had never been so angry. How dare his so called friend do that. Where the hell was William when you need him? Chris threw a punch which made Robs nose start pumping blood. He quickly got up and ran away. Chris turned quickly to Eva who threw her arms around him. He was so glad she was safe and couldn't help but wonder what would happen if he didn't come down when he did. "Please don't leave me again Chris. Please" Eva begged with tears streaming down her face. He held her tighter to his chest.
"Don't worry I'm not going anywhere. Shhh" he said stroking her hair trying to calm her down and stop her from crying. After a while of the two just standing there, Eva pulled away. "I'm gonna go find the girls. My buzz is officially dead. Can you come with me?" Eva said. "Of course." The two walk through the crowd and find the girls sitting in a couch in the living room talking. Chris sat down on the seat and Eva sat on his lap. They stayed like that talking to the bus for a while until Chris got up to get a beer. "You and Chris look awful cosy tonight." Vilde said with a smile. "Nei Vilde there is nothing going on with Chris and I. Something happened and Chris had to help me and I was upset about it that's all. Now could you stop he's practically my brother." Eva said getting a little bit annoyed. "Sana as the only sober one here, could you please watch the house. I'm gonna go ask Chris if he wants to head over to his for a bit. I don't really wanna party anymore and I don't have a clue where William went." Eva asked.
"Yea of course. If anything happens I'll call you. Have fun." Sana said with a smile. "Hey Schistad, wanna go to yours I'm really not in the party mood anymore." Eva asked. "Yea sounds good. The party is dying down anyways. All my hook ups tonight have been terrible." Chris said with his smirk. "Wow. Did not need to know but thank you for that information Chris" Eva said and hit him on the shoulder. "Wow Mohn, more abuse. Anyways have you see Will anywhere or Noora I haven't seen them in a while?" Christ asked. "No but I'm sure there just fine don't worry. Let's go"

Chris took out his key and opened the door of his house, which is right next to Eva and Williams.  They weren't expecting anyone to be there so the two walked into the kitchen only to see the lights on and William and noora in the kitchen making out. "William what the fuck are you doing? That is my sister, the one you said you would protect from guys like us since we were 10. I can't believe this. You were supposed to be my best friend. And you. What the hell Noora I thought you had more sense than this." Eva puts her hand on Chris' shoulder to try and calm him a bit. It works as he takes a deep breath, looks Eva in the eyes. She can see he's really hurt and she's a little bit annoyed as well. She just wanted to get out of there. She turned to her brother.

"William, you are an asshole. To do that to Chris? Your best damn friend. Come on get your head out of you ass and come talk to me when you've grown up a bit. You know we wouldn't have been a tenth as mad if you had told us this was going on but the TWO of you decided to keep it a secret. I thought our friendship was stronger then than." Eva shouted. With that Eva and Chris went back out the door and walked in comfortable silence. They could see the party was over as almost everybody had gone home. "Hey Sana is minding the house. Do you wanna go to the hideout? We haven't been there in a while." Eva asks looking a Chris. He was so upset and she just wanted to try and make him feel better. "You know what? I'd love to go to the hideout." Chris said and put his arm around Eva. When Eva and Chris were around 9 they found this spot in the wood behind there houses. They built a big swing for them to sit on out of rope and a couple planks of wood and a little table. No one else knew about it. Not even Noora or William so it was perfect. They used to go there when it got too much at home. (A/n I'll go into home life in upcoming chapter). It was a ten minute walk from their back garden. One they reached it the took out the box of blankets the had stashed under a tree and took out the biggest one. The two sat on the swing and cuddled up together like they've did since they were 9. They gazed at the stars for a while until Eva broke the silence. "Penny for your thoughts?" Chris laughed. "I was just thinking about what we just saw and trying to figure out why the wouldn't tell us they were hooking up. I mean if they told us, ya I'd be a little pissed cause it's my sister but now I'm just furious at both of them." Chris said letting it all out. "I thought the same. Do they not trust us enough to tell us? But anyway, we can deal with that later. Now let's just forget about it for a while" Eva said. "Okay I agree. Hey do you remember what happened here when we were like 13?" Chris asked Eva. She laughed. " you're gonna have to be a little more specific Chris. It was like 2010 we came here a lot that year." Eva said even though she was sure she knew the time he was talking about. "Let me refresh your memory Mohn. It was the day before we went back to school. You were wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and my black Hollister hoodie that was far too big for you. We were both 13 and there was a dance the next day. You heard from Isak that people would be kissing at this dance and got scared . You told me this and of course I freaked out too. We decided since we were best friends, we would kiss to make sure we actually liked the person who was our first kiss. So I leaned in and so did you and we both had our very first kiss right on this swing." Chris said as he laughed. "Oh I do remember that night. I am impressed though Chris. You literally remember everything about that night." Eva said. "Of course I do. It was my first kiss. I know I'll forget all the hook ups and stuff but I will never forget that kiss." Chris said not laughing at all. Eva was touched. "It was a good plan really. I bet not many other people liked who their first kiss was." Eva said proudly. "It was indeed mohn. We should probably head home though. It's 1:30 in the morning." Chris said looking at his watch." Can we stay here till two? I don't wanna go back to all the drama." Eva asked. "Of course." Chris said simply. He took off his hoodie and wrapped it around Eva as she was in a short sleeve dress and he was hogging most of the blanket. They stayed like that until two. Then the started walking back after putting the blanket back in the box. "So, my house or yours?" Chris asked. "Let's go to yours and hope William decided to clean up after his own party." Eva said and yawned. She had stayed with Chris countless times. She changed into one of his t-shirts and climbed into his bed beside him. "Goodnight Chris" she said. "Goodnight Eva"
