Still Jen's p.ov.

-Whooa!! said Em. So you guys are like together now?

Max looked me in the eyes.

-Would you like to be my girlfriend?

-If I would...! I would love to be your girlfriend!! exlaimed I.

Max laughed.

The door opened and it was Em's parents coming home.

-We should go, it's late, said Max. Shall I walk you home?

-If you want to, said I.

-Well, let's go then.

Max took the lead out of the home, saying hi to Em's parents on his way out. I just smiled at them and followed him. He lit a cigarette.

-You want? said he.

-No, I don't smoke, and you shouldn't smoke either, said I.

Max laughed and shook his head.

-I know that.

It was cold, and as if Max had read my thoughts he laid his arms around my shoulders and pulled me closer. I felt so happy, and I couldn't stop a single tear running down my cheek.

-Are you crying love? asked Max with a concerned look in his face.

-I'm just not used to people being kind to me, whispered I.

-The night we met... said Max. Tell me what happened.

I told him everything about what happened. The bullies and the guy who cut my hair off.

-How could they! They are such assholes!! said he.

-I'm used to it, I've been bullied for years, said I.

-But not anymore, right? said Max.

-Everyday... said I.

-You have to stand up for yourself, you can't let them bring you down! said Max.

-I know, said I. But it is hard.

-Life IS hard, said Max.

-Yeah... So tell me more about yourself, said I.

Max told me a little about his life, that he had been friends with Ronnie for a long time and they started the band together and then asked the others to join them too. He told me that some people could be bad to him too, and that he was once beaten up also. But with friends as Ronnie, who always would take the fight for him, nobody dared to do anything against Max again.

-That sounds a bit like Em, said I with a smile. She always tries to help, but she can't always be with me and that in when the others is mean to me.

-Hey. You have my number, if anyone does anything, ANYTHING to you again, then call me, said he.

-Okey, thanks, it means a lot to me, said I.

We outside my house now. Max kissed me goodnight and looked at me when I got into the house. I turned and waved to him and he smiled and waved back. I went into my house and locked the door.
