Well this is it, I thought as I stood on top of the local bridge. I had no reason to live and a hundred reasons to die. I was a walking cliche. I didn't know what to do after everything came to an end, so why not come to an end as well. As I inched towards the edge the memories come racing back into my mind. Memories of that fateful night

~*~*~*~.

The sun was starting to rise as the ground came closer. A few tears slip down my face. Why did it have to come to this?

~*~*~*~

More tears as the ground gets closer. I can now see a few humans getting closer.

~*~*~*~

My best friend is dead. And I'm the one who killed him.

My two best friends dead at my hand.

Someone has to die.

~*~*~*~

The ground scares me yet is enticing at this point. Maybe I'm ready.

~*~*~*~

I close my eyes saying my last words.

(A Few Hours Ago)

I walk up to the abandon bridge and look at the time. 11:56. I decide to wait until the sun comes up so I do.

~*~*~*~

5:56. Six hours later and I managed to write a note expressing what my last words were. I gather all my courage and jump. Free falling. I think about what happened and try to imagine what will happen. I see the ground get closer and then I feel my body hit. My bones crushing. My heart exploding than nothing. I'm gone.

Third Person POV

The sun hung low as the world seemed to stop for the poor souls that had to witness the death of Alexander William Gaskarth. Soon police swarmed the area questioning everyone there. The body covered in a white sheet but still there as Alex's sister arrived at the scene.

"Can I see him." Was heard between sobs.

"Over here." The body caused another round of tears.

"Can we ask you a few questions?" Said a police officer walking her away.

She pulls the note out of her bag as she talks, "This is all you need, probably. Is there anything else or can I go?"

"We found this note and his belonging at the top. I'm so sorry for your loss."

The note said:

I'm sorry sister,
I tried to continue on after what took place in the last weeks but I just couldn't. It took a day for the demons to win completely. I just wanted to let you know that my final words were:
"'Unless the sun inside you is burning your gut don't do it.'-Charles Bukowski"
This is what I choose as my words to die by.
