Behind Jerika (It All Started As a Joke)

Chaper 1: How It All Began

*Everyone knows what happened from Jake's marriage video and I'm pretty sure I explained it as much as I can in chapter one. Next chapter is when it really starts. Therefore, if you want to skip the wedding stuff, you can.

Jake POV

We get to our suite and the first thing I see is Chance and Tessa flirting. I look at Anthony and pull out my vlog camera. "Wait... I have an idea" I say as I pull the guys to the other room.

We all look at each other with the same expression. "Do we have best friend telepathy or what" Chance says.

"Dude you know since we're in Vegas we can legit get married"

"Yeah me to Tessa and you and Erika" Chance says with a huge smile.

"YOU SEEN THE MOVIES. THEY DO THIS SHIT ALL THE TIME" Anthony yells hitting me in the chest.

"Dude" I laugh "Why are you being so aggressive"

"Bro I don't know. I'm just so HYPED for both of you" he says as we all laugh.

"Aye... bro we should get ring pops and flowers too" Chance says. Not a bad idea for a fake wedding.

"Really bro ring pops" Anthony says. I laugh because it's just for the vlog and I'm legit not trying to spend that kind of money on someone I've never dated.

"Come on bro you just spent a butt-load of money on room service and a private jet" Anthony says.

"Nahhh" I say as l look into my camera. As time goes on I decide to put down my camera and work on my connections and figure some of the wedding stuff out.

When I find a venue I pull out my camera and start vloging for the Jake Paulers. "Yooo I can't believe we're getting married. Wait... wait we have to ask the girls first" I say.

"Okay we have the rings, now all we need is the girls" I say. I vlog us calling the girls to come meet us for froyo.

"I'm so nervous" Chance says to the camera.

Anthony pats Chance on the back " trust me you'll be fine. I got your back"

As soon as we finish practicing, the girls walk in. They both sit down and talk and without hesitation Chance gets on one knee to ask Tessa to marry him. "I think you're really beautiful and I want to spend the rest of my life with you" Chance says.

"What...Nooo" Tessa says holding in her laughter. "What's going on guys" she laughs.

He grabs her hand and says "will you marry me"

She puts on the ring slowly and says "is this a Joke" and Chance shakes his head.

She looks at my camera and says "okay I don't know...yeah." We all clap in celebration. Okay this is your time to shine Jake.

"Wow... what just happened" Erika says. She watches me as I hand my camera to Chance.

Remember this is for the vlog. I say in my head as I walk to the girl of my dreams. "Erika... I think it's time to take Jerika to the next level."

"What" she says look at me with her ocean blue eyes.

"I think you're so beautiful" I say.

"Stop it Jake" she laughs.

"We get along so well and you know since we're in Vegas I think it's a good time to ask you to be my wife." I say as I perceived to get on one knee.

"Please tell me he's kidding" she said as I grabbed her hand.

"Come on we're in Vegas" Chance says pointing the camera as us.

She shakes her head and says "yes". We all clap and cheer. I can't help but stare at her. She smiles back at me as I gaze into her beautiful blue eyes. I can't believe she said yes to ME.

"You know the wedding is in three hours" I say looking at my watch.

"WHAT" the girls say.

"Well... we're in Vegas. And we have to before we go back to LA." I say as I continue to record my friends.

"I think me and the Martinez twins are going to find some girls to marry" Anthony says fake crying.

"Okay hopefully they can get a visa" I say as they walk away.

Later on after we get our transition shots we head to the venue to get married. I always had a small crush on Erika but I never thought she would be the girl I would marry.

"We all know you just want to blow up Erika. That's why you agreed to marry him. If I could I would too. You know what, Jake me and you should get married." Chance says looking into the camera.

I just laugh. "Nah" I say as I shake my head.

"You know what Chance, that not why I said yes" she says putting her hair behind her ear. " I think we would make a power duo." I wonder if she means it or if it's for the camera.

"Is it because of my personality" I say pointing the camera her way.

"Yeah... you have a great personality... sometimes. She says.
