some have it worse than others.it seems like the whole world wants to work against you.and so the world works to cut you down- to put out your fire.it leaves you beaten, bruised, and destroyed.
sometimes it starts from the heart and works its way out. that's the worst.it gives you scars that no one can see, but you can feel them.and so then the world has given you this situation where you are in solitary pain. people don't understand why you flinch when someone says they love you, or why you cry when you are told that it doesn't matter.it is because the world has dealt you a war to fight, where you are the only army. you'll be left with scars.
but you look at those scars every day and you are thankful for them.they remind you of what battles you have won.
and so you smile,because your scars are beyond beautiful.
