If there's one thing I've learnt in life - it would be that life fucks us all. It doesn't matter if you're rich, poor, kind, heartless, whatever. You change regardless of who or what you really are. Whether it is due to experiences, pain, or that you simply have to - you will change. Sometimes the change is for the better, and sometimes it's for the worst; who knows which one turns out for us.
What I do know however, is that the change that I begun in my life has been beneficial to me. It prevented me from more damage and heartbreak than I was already facing. Yes, there were some downsides to it, there always are! I lost my family and friends, but at least I became stronger as a person. At least I finally found my true self and I am on a new beginning in my life which I am so happy about.
I thank the people who made me different from what I used to be. Why? Because they simply showed me how to find myself! They showed me what real pain feels like, and with that I learnt what it's like to experience true happiness; even if it was only for a split second.
