Hercules' POV
It was basically a big sob fest in the waiting room.
"Um excuse me, we are happy to say that John made it through the surgery. Only one person can go in and stay with him overnight." The doctor said.
"I'll do it." said Alex. "Okay." said the doctor, and then she closed the door behind Alexander.
Alexander's POV
"John?" I asked. "Alex..." John said trailing off. "I was so worried, I am so sorry.... I shouldn't have let you even go to that fight. I am such a bad boyfriend, so I would understand if you want to break up with me...." I trailed off.
"Alexander, I need you more than ever, and I will always love you. I should have known better than to fight Lee." John said, his voice gravelly.
"The doctors said that it was a miracle that I survived this accident. I'd like to spend as much time with you as possible." John said, and then coughed.
"What time is it?" he asked. "Showtime!" I responded, chuckling. "No, not that, the actual time, silly!" John said and scanned the room for a clock. "Oh! Um...it's only 3:07 pm." I responded. "Good, because I had Washington bring two kids over to the hospital. You might know them, Philip and Theodosia." John responded, and then pressed the IV drip button.
Time skip to when the kiddos arrive!!!!!
"I believe this is the room." I heard Professor Washington say from outside of the door. "Are these kids, like, your best friends?" I asked John, curious.
"Yeah. He's the one who got me and Philip together." Theodosia said, and blushed at Philip.
"Ah. Young love...." John said, sounding tired. I kissed his forehead and let the kids hug him goodbye. That was kind of over too soon, but I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of those two.
