Chapter 16: Ruined

Jiwoo's POV

Sejun and I were just talking, until he suddenly grabs my hand, leading me into a corner. I could see people looking at me, I'm getting embarrassed now!

"Jiwoo, I know you have a boyfriend already but, I've had a crush on you since the first time we met."

He liked me?

"O-oh..I'm sorry but um..I don't have the same feelings for you. I'm really sorry." But before I could try to walk away from him, he kisses my lips. I didn't want to kiss him back though.

And at that same damn moment, Jungkook enters the cafe. And guess what? He sees us.

I push Sejun away. "I'm sorry I just don't feel the same!" I yelled at him. Even more people were looking at us. I started to run away, Sejun was calling my name but I didn't care. I'm not looking back!

While I was running back home, I thought to myself. How will I explain this to Jungkook?

~At Home~

I was sitting on my bed, trying to call Jungkook. But he just wouldn't pick up! I even sent him text messages but it doesn't say 'Read'. I really don't want our relationship to be ruined. I cried myself to sleep.

~At School~

Jungkook wouldn't even talk to me. Or look at me. He was forced to sit next to me in the first class, I tried to tell him what happened, but his eyes were glued to the front of the class.

I guess I'll just have to do this another way. When first class ended, I tried catching up to where Jungkook was heading. I grabbed his wrist. "Jungkook! Please listen!" And for the first time in this day, he looked at me.

"WHAT!" He said in a frightening voice. I flinched a little. I've never heard him use this kind of tone!

"He confessed to me, and I told him I didn't feel the same! And before I could run away, he kissed me, but I didn't kiss him back. P-please understand!" Tears started to form in my eyes. I don't want to lose him!

His face softened a little, he was about to say something until the bell rang. WHY?! What was he gonna say?

~After the Last Class Ended~

I was packing my stuff to leave. Once I was done, I left the school gates. I saw Jungkook running up to me, so I stopped so he could catch up. "I'm sorry for being rude to you." Jungkook said.

"It's okay, it was just unexpected when he kissed me. And I didn't expect you to come." I said.

"Sorry but, I really don't like that guy. I don't even like saying his name. Sorry." He said.

"Honestly I don't care. Well, we're at my house now. Bye!"

"Wait Jiwoo! You're forgetting something."

I turn around to face him. "What?"

He points to his cheek. Aish this guy. I kiss his cheek and wave good bye to him. When I open the door to my house, I saw the most marvelous thing in front of me.

"Jiwoo! I missed you so much! You remember me right?" My mother laughed.

I hugged her really tight. "I MISSED YOU SO MUCH MOTHER!"

"You've taken care of the house really well too. But I have great news for you." She said smiling.

"Oo! Oo! What is it?" I said excited.

"We're moving! We'll have a better house, and you'll be going to a better school! We will be moving in 2 weeks. Aren't you excited?"

I wasn't excited. I wasn't happy. I was ruined. But I just had to fake my happiness to make my mom happy. She's not in a coma anymore!

"I'm so excited! I'm going to my room now, bye!" I faked a smile and ran upstairs.

I locked the door, and screamed into my pillow. How will I tell Jungkook this? Would he leave me or wait for me?

I left my room and went downstairs, seeing my mother watching tv.

"Mother, what if we don't move?"

She turned off the tv and looked at me. "You don't want to move?"

I shake my head. "No."

"I'm sorry but we are moving no matter what. The house is bigger, and I'm sure you'll make friends. A new life, you know?"

"But what about um, my boyfriend Jungkook?" I asked her. I've never been this nervous to hear her response.

"Well we are going to move and stay in that house forever. He'll probably find a new love!"

"Wait, so are you saying I'm going to have to break up with him?!" I raised my voice.

She pats my shoulder. "Calm down sweetie! I arranged someone to be your boyfriend! His parents and I agreed to it too. Can you guess who?" Her smile was so wide.

It's gotta be someone great. "Who is it?"

"It's your childhood friend! Sejun!" She said happily.

Ruined again.
