Chapter 15: Childhood Friend

~2 months later~

There's only 2 months left in school. I live alone now, but I'm good at taking care of myself now. My mother still hasn't woken up yet, but she's not dead. My stepmother went to jail, and for my father, I don't feel like talking about it. But, my relationship with Jungkook has increased. We talk and hang out much more now.

I just finished eating my cereal, as I was about to slip on my shoes, I got a text message from Jungkook.

Let's walk to school together! ^_^

Me
Okay then :D

I put on my backpack, and left the house. I saw Jungkook wave at me, I waved back at him. We then started walking together to school.

"There's only like 2 months left in school. We're on our last year too! Do you think we will ever meet each other again?" Jungkook asked me.

I thought for a minute. Would we ever meet each other again? "Well, I guess so. If we keep in contact." I said. Jungkook nodded.

A few minutes later, we were in class, sitting next to each other. Mrs.Unicorn came in the class.

"Alright class, today we will be having a test!" She said as she passed us the test papers. Oh shet I didn't study! I forgot ~_~.

The only thing I could answer on the test was my name and the date. Time was running out too. I just decided to bubble in random answers. Hopefully I get more than 50%. But that's less likely to happen since I forgot to study TT.

I finally turned in my test to Mrs.Unicorn, and a few minutes later, I got my test result. I really didn't want to see what was my score, but the other part of me wanted to see what was my score. I took a peek to see what I got, and I wish I never did that.

I got 4/100.

I was sitting in my seat looking distressed. I've never gotten a score this low before!

Jungkook went up to me. "Jiwoo! What did you get? I got 89/100!"

"4/100.."I muttered.

"4/100?! You've never gotten a score that low! What happened? You didn't study?" I nod my head slowly. Jungkook was about to say something until the bell rang. I waved goodbye to him and left the classroom. I feel so ashamed.

~5 classes later~

I was walking through the hallway to get my things when suddenly I heard a guy's voice call my name.

"Jiwoo! Is that you?" I turn around to see my childhood friend, Sejun. We used to play together a lot when we were younger. I smile at him.

"Hey Sejun, I didn't think you'd remember me."

"Why wouldn't I remember you?" We both hugged each other.

Jungkook's POV

Where is Jiwoo? I've been searching for her for the past 10 minutes. There she is! I was about to run up to her, until I saw her hugging a guy. That's just her friend, right? Then they waved goodbye to each other. I walked up to her.

"Hello Jiwoo! I was searching for you for the past 10 minutes."

"Oh really? Sorry!" She says as we hold hands.

I should probably ask her now. "Who was the guy you were hanging out with?" I asked her.

"Oh, he's just a childhood friend of mine." Well now I know. We were walking back home, and reached Jiwoo's house. I waved goodbye to her and went my own path back to my house.
