Chapter 27: Unknown Secrets

Authors note-

SUP PEOPLE! Im back and now it's time for more action, Gore, and possibly more of everybody's powers showing....... Hopefully. Not making any promises though.

Anyway, Im back, let's start reading.

We were building the school for at least 6 days because of explosions, people attacking us, blah blah blah.
My dad was okay, he still had crutches, but was still up and moving.
Angel was creating a magic barrier around the place along with Jason putting security cameras and bugs around every corner of the school.
Drake went home for awhile to help out his grandma, who was sick. Crystal was training, for about 2 days with her creepy eye thing. Aiden and I were training each others speed with our weapons.
I was trying to do my manipulation while fighting Aiden because I need to at least kill the other person that might be with the target.
But the school was up and running, again until the day school starts up again. Which means more shit, drama, people, trainees, and of course possible new teachers that might be better than the others from last year. Last year's teachers were a total stickler for rules that I snuck a few things of food in my bag. Aiden caught me some times and crushed a chip in my palm at least 20 times.

Aiden-"How many times are you going to eat in your sophomore year now?"

Skylar-"Depends if your counting and if your in one or two at least in my classes this year."

Aiden-"If I am, then your in a load of broken chips and wasted food."

Skylar-"Shut up. Besides we have, what, five more weeks of summer left, but it's not over yet until when school starts."

I slammed the door on Aiden who was smiling like an idiot, but a bright light shone bright through my window, and I heard firing. I jumped out of the way, and changed into my assassin outfit. I grabbed as many daggers I could, and jumped out of the window to hold onto the ledge and jump onto the floor. I ran across the field, and hid into some bushes, but the firing kept getting closer to me, so I made my towards Aiden's room who was firing from his window.
I saw who was firing at me, and decided to run up the wall to get behind who was firing at me.
Gore~
I was behind the guy that was turning quickly, but went into a dagger under his mouth. Leaving him choking on the blade and his blood, but I turned him around to Aiden who shot him multiple times till he fell down onto the ground flat.
Gore over~
I went over to his body, while Aiden was closing his window. I grabbed my dagger from his head, and had checked any pockets for anything, but a note was sticking out, saying "Thanks for the easy Target." I got up and walked back to the wall and started climbing.
I got changed and quickly walked to Aiden's door which was locked. I still had my bloody dagger on me, so I used that to unlock the door. I saw his window opened, and rushed outside where I happened to see him turning the corner.
I met up with him, and thrown two daggers at both sleeves in his jacket. I walked up to him, out of breathe and pulled out the note.

Skylar-"Wanna explain this?!"

Aiden-"Ok, um, that was my colleague from my other school, and somehow he asked about you. But I told him to leave you alone, but I guess that didn't get through him."

Skylar-"So I've been a target for your friend whose dead?! You knew and didn't tell me, and to think, I started to have feelings on you."

Aiden-"Hey! That's my betrayed colleague because he didn't listen to me, I was actually going to kill him but needless to say, you got in the way I didn't want to hurt you."

I grabbed both daggers out from the wall, and as he turned around, I punched his stomach, kicked the back of his knee, and swipe kicked him to he was on his back.
He gasped for air and was staring at me.

Aiden-"At least, the self defense training worked."

I walked away and just clenched my fists until I felt blood trickled down my fingers. I felt stupid and used that I didn't come out of my room for the whole week that I had left the room only when people were asleep.
But I couldn't stop replaying the chase scene I had with Aiden. I guess I should keep secrets for myself now as well and wait till it hurts the same person that did the same to me.

Happy 4th of July. And yes 5 more weeks of summer for the new highschoolers, new middle schoolers which btw good luck, and elementary students.
