"How come you always run behind me, Lance?" "i don't know what your talking about." Lance shrugged and changed the subject, talking about anything else. Keith was rather curious about why he always seemed to be behind him when being shot at. He shrugged it off and figured it was a coincidence.

"alright team, there is a galra ship that crashed on a near by planet. We'll go in, get some info and get out. Pidge and Hunk will go with me to extract the info. Lance and Keith, you guard us."
Shiro said as everyone was putting on their armor. "Shiro why are you making them stand watch?" Pidge piped up while struggling to put on the under suit. "uhh maybe because they'll protect eachother and be super competitive about it when they aren't attacking each other's faces?" Hunk said as everyone collectively finished putting on their armor.

Keith sighed "Seriously Hunk? Im right here." he gave his signature glare at him. Hunk shrugged "Whaaat im just saying!" "Guys let's make it a quick in and out okay? "

"everyone come on we have info we need to get to the green lion now!" Shiro's voice came in over their helmets. "Got it! Lance come on!" Keith and Lance started sprinting as galra soldiers shot at them. They caught up to Hunk, Pidge, and Shiro and was close to the green lion. Behind Keith there was a scream of pain and a loud thud. Keith looked behind him and stopped dead in his tracks. "oh...Oh god no..." Keith stared at the lifeless face of the boy he loved. There was a shot between his eyes. "LANCE!!" his voice was very broken from tears as he started running towards Lance. He felt arms hold him back and pull him into the lion.

They arrived at the castle and Keith walked straight to the room he used to share with Lance. He sat on the bed and took his knife from the sheith he had. He stared at it and plunged it into his neck.

"LANCE!" Keith shot up in a second and wacked his head on a worried Lance that was over him. "you were talking in your sleep." Lance kissed his forehead "Nothing is going to happen to me. I promise."
