The Ball Family Dinner

Rosa pov

Once school end I went to go to the girls basketball practice. I got my extra set of my basketball clothes and put it on.

I walked out to the court as I'm walking I see the girls from the team and the boys.

Coach blows her whistle. Every one line up including me. "This is our new player on the team Rosa Diamond. Treat like she your family. We are all equal," coach said.

"Now start the drills. Rosa watch them go through the drills and then join them. Understand," she yell. Every one scream/answer her yes coach. As a watch them go through the drill. Melo came up to me. "Hey," he said. "Shhhh I'm trying to focus. And question why are you here this is the girls practice?," i said to him.

"Well our coach had to go do something so we have to practice with y'all today," he replied. I nodded it started doing the drills. The drill where very easy but they make it look hard.

As practice ending I walk to my dads car. I was stop by the same voice again. "Hey I was wondering if you can come over to my house later. My other brother and parents wants to meet the new neighbors," he said. "Sure what time should we there," I asked. 

"7:15 my mom is making dinner to welcome you guys," he said. "Ok see you then," I smiled and he wink before walking the other direction to his brother car. I swear this guy makes me get butterflies.

I walked to my dad car and told him how the Ball family invited us to dinner at there place. As we got the time was 5:26. So my dad and I went to our backyard so we could play 1 on 1. To cut it short. I won by 13 points.

"Rosa and Lucas get your butts inside and take a shower. It is 6:50 and we have to be going in 15 minutes. And don't what to look bad cause we are late," my mom yelled at us. And she keep rambling on and on. My dad and I looked at each other and started laughing.

I went to my room to get ready.

As I walked down stairs I see my mom holding some of her famous cake pops and dad smiling at my mom with love in his eyes. "Let's go you lazy bums," my mom said and walked off while dad and I was laughing.

We walked to the Ball's house. Dad knocked on the door. And Tina Ball came out. She smiled and said "Hi I'm Tina Ball. Welcome to the Chino Hill. Come in my husband is grilling some food outside."

I walked in and look around. The house was beautiful and well decorated. "The boys are in Lamelo's room. Go upstairs take a left and it's the second door on the right," Mrs. Ball said. I took Mrs. Ball directions and I went up stairs. All I could hear was loud screaming.

So I knocked on his door. And Gelo open the door. "Look who's here the girl who crossed Melo at gym today," Gelo said to the 3 boys. "Zo you should had been there it was so funny," Eli said. Melo cheeks turn red while Zo was on the floor laughing his ass off.

"Shut up I bet she can take y'all ankles to nigga," Melo yell at them. The whole time I just stood there quiet.  "We are playing 2k you want to play?" Zo ask me. "Sure. Don't be mad when I beat you and break your ankles," I said with some sass and sat on Melo bed and pick up a blue controller.

Zo pick the Cavs while I pick Golden State.

----------------------45 minutes later---------------------

So I beat Zo 126-120. And all the boys were laughing at Zo cause he lost. We hear their father call us down to eat. I introduced myself to Lavar Ball and we started eating. Once we were done my mom we are leaving in 5 minutes.

So I went upstairs to tell the boys goodbye and they all gave me a hug. Once I hug Melo he gave me a kiss on the cheek and said "Goodnight beautiful. Sweet dreams."

My whole face turn red and I turn around quickly so none of them could see my face. I said good night one last time and ran down stairs to my mom and dad. And said thank you to Mrs. And Mr. Ball.

We walked home. I went to my room. I changed into my pjs and went to bed. And there was one person on my mind.
