Cheap Pack of Cigarettes.//HS

Chapter 5.

My family didn't stay long since they had been here for a couple of hours already.
Harry texted me goodnight and we texted for a while just talking about random stuff. It's the next day, Saturday, and I'm currently getting ready for that dinner I told Kevin I would go to with him and his parents. He's been wanting to tell him he's gay for quite a while now but he always got nervous so he decided to just do it once and for all today during dinner.
I decided to wear some skinny black jeans, a white and black striped cropped shirt and white sneakers.
I saw the clock and it read 6:30 pm and Kevin is picking me up at 7pm so I have half an hour to kill until I have to leave.
I lay down on my bed and I feel my phone buzzing I take it out and see it's harry, he texted me earlier and we've been talking since then.

Harry : What are you up to?

Me : Just laying in bed waiting for my friend, you?

Harry : I'm about to go to the gym.

Harry : Is she staying over?

Me: *he and no, we're going to dinner :)

Harry : oh... that's good. Just the two of you?

Me : no his parents too.

Me : I have to go, have fun at the gym :)

I lock my phone and I get up from the bed I see the time and it's 6:57pm Kevin shouldn't be long so I go and wait for him downstairs.
I see my mom near the stove cooking something so I go over to her.
I grab some juice and sit on the kitchen island.
"What you cooking, ma" I said and then took a sip of my juice.
She turns and gives me a small smile
"Chicken soup" she says and turns back.
We chitchat for a little bit until i get a call from Kevin saying he's outside.
I say bye to my mom and I walk outside. Once I see Kevin's car I get on it and he starts driving to his house.
His house is not that far from mine, it's like a 10 minute drive if there's traffic, we stop at a light and I see him serious with his jaw clenched, not in a mad way, he seemed nervous like he wanted throw up.
"Stop worrying Kevin, I'm sure they'll be cool with it" I say with a reassuring smile.
He looked straight at the road with one hand on the steering wheel and the other scratching the back of his neck. "My parents think I'm bringing you over because you're my girlfriend" he gave a shy smile. I let out a laugh "Oh god this is gonna be an interesting night" we laughed and we sang along to a drake song that came on the radio.

Dinner with Kevin's parents went better then we expected. I was right, they accepted him, they said they kind of knew since every time they asked him about dating girls he kept quite and changed the subject.
It was currently Sunday and I was getting ready for work. I put on my usual black skinny jeans, a grey v neck shirt and I put on my shoes I grab my purse and phone and I start walking downstairs. I sit on the living room just scrolling through my phone since I still have 10 minutes before I have to leave.
As I'm going through my twitter I get a message from Kevin thanking me for attending dinner with him and his parents. I responded telling him it was no biggie and that I'd always be there for him, I sent the message and went back to my messages to check if anyone else had texted me, of course no one did but I noticed that Harry never replied back. I thought about just ignoring it but my fingers found themselves typing a "hey" before I noticed what I was doing I sent the message, instantly regretting it.
"Shiiiiiit!!" I cursed to myself I rolled my eyes and sit up realizing I had to leave now or else I'd be late for work. I put my phone on my back pocket and grab my purse and black cardigan since it was a little cold outside.
I get on my car and start driving to the coffee shop.

Work was kind of busy today which I hated and liked at the same time because it made my day go faster. As I'm saying my goodbyes to my coworkers I see Harry walking in to the shop. He never goes in he's always outside. I narrow my eyebrows as I see him walking up to the cashier. He had his usual skinny jeans, white shirt and his brown boots. He had a pair of sunglasses on top of his head pulling the front of his hair back. God he looked so hot.
He looked at me and a smirk came to his face as he turned his head back to Michelle, the cashier. Michelle had long blonde hair and brown eyes but she always wore blue contacts they looked nice on her but I've always liked to keep it natural.
I couldn't really hear their conversation but I'm sure it was good since Harry had a smirk on his face the whole time. What catch my attention was the wink Harry gave her before she went to get his order. A feel of jealousy hit me but I tried to push it aside.
He moved aside so that the next customer could order and started texting something on his phone. I started walking up to him until I stand next to him.

"Hey" I said holding my cardigan and phone on my hand.

He looked up from his phone and looked down at me "oh hi" he said with a cold tone and went back to texting on his phone. Why is he being like this?

"Why are you acting like this?" I said getting kind of annoyed.
His fingers still typing, his head still looking down at his phone. "Like what?" He murmured. Michelle then came back with his drink and sandwich. He smiled up at her and said thanks followed by a wink. I rolled my eyes and walked away, I am not going to spend my time on him if he's going to act like an ass. I opened the door and started walking to my car, I put my stuff inside and as I was about to get in it i felt a hand on my wrist. I turned around and saw him there in front of me, holding his drink and sandwich on his left hand as his right hand dropped from my wrist.
I looked up at him and he had his eyebrows furrowed together and his breath hit my face. "So you can go out with a guy AND his parents but I can't give a friendly smile at the girl for giving me my order?" He said. "I never said you couldn't" I said folding my arms in front of my chest. He raised and eyebrow and lowered his head to my level "Belle, you walked out after I thanked her" I rolled my eyes, people always changed my name to 'Isabelle' I never liked until now that's coming from Harry. "I never knew you had to wink at her too, normally people would just say 'thank you' give a small smile and walk away" I said looking away from his eyes. He chuckled "I never knew you were seeing a guy and meeting his parents either but hey life's full of surprises!" He said as he took a step back, I turned to look at him with wide eyes. He thought Kevin was my boyfriend and that I was meeting his parents? Well I guess is kind of my fault for not making it clear what the dinner was going to be about.
I let out a laugh and he gave me a questioning look "I'm not seeing anyone!" I said with a smile on my face. He still looked confused "The guy I went to dinner with is my best friend, who happens to be gay. He wanted to come out to his parents and he wanted me to be with him when he did so I did." I quickly explained to him. He looked a little shocked. He then smiled and went to put his coffee and sandwich on the roof of my car before leaning on it. He put one hand on his front pocket of his jeans and looked up at me with a shy smile. "So you're not seeing anyone?" I let out a laugh and shake my head. He chuckled and took his hand out of his pocket "come here" he said opening his arms for me to get in, closer to him. I walk to him and put my arms around his neck and soon felt his around my waist. "I'm sorry for being a dick in there" he looked at the coffee shop then back at me "if it makes things any better I prefer brown eyes" he said with a smug smile. I let out a laugh and blush a little at what he said. "She'll be waiting for you now every day" I said looking at his green emerald eyes, my right hand caressing his cheek. He leaned in to my touch making me smile. "Hmm I don't care" he said leaning in giving a small peck to my lips. "I'll only be coming here for you" he said leaning in again but this time his tongue asking for permission to slide in, I let him and I let out a small moan when he pulled me closer to him making me feel his buldge against my area. We kissed for a couple more seconds before I felt the need to breathe, I pulled away taking his bottom lip between my teeth. A low moan was heard from his mouth as I let it go. "Fuck Belle" he said catching his breath "You just gave me a hard in public" I smile and pull away from his hold and stared opening the car door. "Hm too bad I have to go and can't help you deal with it" I said with a wink. I see his jaw dropped and I let out a laugh as I get in the car, just when I'm about to close the door Harry holds it open "Hey" he peeks his head inside the car "can I see you later tonight?" He said "Sure, text me the time" I said as I start the car. He nodes "drive safe, baby" he said before giving me one last kiss and closing the door. He grabbed his coffee and sandwich and he sends me a wave as he start walking to his car. A smile curves in my face as I start driving back home.
