Dear India, Finn, and Grace,
India! He sounds like a keeper! I’m so happy for you :)
Meanwhile, up here in the mountains, things are rocky, both the terrain and my relationship with Liam. Apparently he’s already 18. And he didn’t realize I wasn’t. Flattering, but it sucks. He says nothing more can happen between us until September, when I’m legal. AGHHHHHHH
He won’t make eye contact with me. It was a fucking kiss! It’s not like he popped my cherry! He’s such a good boy it’s frustrating.
Call the leprechaun.
Singlely,
Ronnie

Dear Grace, India, and Ronnie,
Things are really picking up around here. A guy came in earlier today and bought not one, but two subtitled foreign films. It’s pretty crazy.
Oh, wow, even more excitement. A not-unattractive guy just came in and asked if he could post a flyer. I could write a friggin book.
India, I’ll strangle you if you don’t bring me a worthwhile souvenir. Pamphlets don’t count.
Still considering becoming an adult film actress,
Finn

Dear Finn, India, and Ronnie,
Thanks for your input, India and Ronnie. Finn, step out of your little self-pity bubble for a second and consider your friends.
I called him, before I received your letters, and it worked out great. Apparently his dad owns the pub with the great ham sandwiches. He invited me to come back after hours to meet him. I know, I know, it sounds dangerous, but I don’t care. He doesn’t strike me as the type to date rape. Plus, I’ll have my pepper spray in case he tries to asSAuLT me. Get it? Salt? Pepper?
Hoping I don’t die before having another one of those sandwiches,
Grace

Dear Peasants,
I’m back in town! Finn, I’ll be at yours eating your oreos catching up on The Fosters using your On Demand while you read this. Everyone else, I’ll try my bestest to cheer her up.
So, I have Zayn’s number. I texted him as soon as the plane landed. Besides the fact that we’re hundreds of miles apart, it’s going swimmingly.
Less sexily than before,
India

Dear India, Finn, and Grace,
Glad to hear you took off the thong, India.
Let’s not talk about boys because boys are stupid and boys are mean and dumb.
When I get back, I’m looking forward to three things: food, long showers, and technology. I’m hungry, smelly, and behind on all my series. I missed the Grammys and I haven’t touched social media since the brief window of WiFi at...Starbucks. Damn. Okay.
I’m trying to be more mature so that Liam will see that I might as well be 18 because I’m so adult. I volunteered to be on dish duty for my cabin all this week, I’m in charge of refills at all meals, and I signed up to help belay for younger campers. And obviously I look mature for my age. Why can’t he see that this isn’t a big deal?
Frustratedly maturely,
Veronica
