Dear India, Finn, and Grace,

Liam still won't talk to me, at least not properly. He'll belay for me and ask me to pass the peas at dinner, but other than that, I hardly get a jerk of the head. I'm going nuts. Is this how the "hard-to-get" act feels? Ahhhhhhhh

Wi-Fi-lessly yours,

Ronnie

Dear Ronnie, Grace, and India,

Louis, the director, asked me to a coffee shop after rehearsals yesterday. Wanted to "talk showbiz" with me. He ordered a tea! So cute. Anyway, he told me he's thinking of bringing in a guy he knows to do lights and such. The theatre usually has a guy, but this play is has meaning for him, so he wants everything to be personal.

I was trying to be flirty and cool and I asked him if he had a girl in his life, to which he replied, "Quite a few sisters, actually." And proceeded to rattle them off, which I didn't argue against, because it was cute, but afterwards, I told him that wasn't what I meant. He nodded and said he figured that's what I was after, and that, no, there was no woman in his life, but there was a very beautiful boy named Harry who happens to be a specialist in all things lights.

Ouch.

Dejectedly,

Finn

Dear India, Finn, and Ronnie,

Oh, Finn. I’m so sorry, sweetheart. I hope you stick with the play anyway. It’ll be so good for you. This could take you on a wonderful path that you would’ve missed otherwise! The beautiful ones are always gay.

Last day in Ireland. Wow. I spent every waking moment with Niall and I don’t regret it one bit. I hardly mind that I’m grounded for the rest of the foreseeable future. I just can’t believe I have to leave him. Of course, I want to tour Europe. Yes, it’s always been a dream of mine. No, I can’t stand the thought of not being with him. Great, I’m one of those disgusting love-sick girls on TV.

Ronnie, knock some sense into that boy. Tell him you’re okay with friends first, at least until September. Actually, that’s not all that far away. If you really want this boy for the long run, you can wait for him. And if he was raised with the values to obey the law and respect girls, goddammit, scoop him up and never let him go because there sure as hell aren’t enough men like that anymore.

Enough with the sincerity. India, I love you. Go watch a rehearsal or something. Report back on how sexy these theater boys are.

Unsincerely,

Grace

Dear Bitches,

India here. This long-distance shit is hard. God, he’s worth it though. Also, I agree with everything Grace said. Wrote. Whatever.

Mindlessly,

India

Dear India, Finn, and Grace,

I took your advice, Grace. It took a while to get him to look at me, and longer to talk to me. He thinks he’s committing a felony just breathing the same air as me. He’s so ridiculous. But, when I finally got a conversation going, it was good. I told him what you told me to tell him and asked him why we couldn’t just be friends like before. He didn’t really have a good answer. I think it’s going to work out.

Keep me updated on the theater nerds! I want pictures!

Also, Grace, sweetheart, I don’t think you’re going to be able to hold up a relationship with an Irish boy, now or ever. I’m sorry, but I don’t see it happening. You either, India. I’ve had my fair share of long-distance relationships and you’re always gonna think, hey, this one’s different, we can make this work, and I know how you’re feeling, but facetime and skype and google hangouts aren’t ever going to be the same as seeing him in the flesh, running into his arms at top speed, kissing him slowly, kissing him fast, kissing him hard, laughing at his jokes, or just being with him, breathing the same air and looking into his eyes. Just consider it.
