CH.2- LONG LOST GRANDPA MAKOTO

 After a week that the Sato family has been in Oregon, Takeo and Kenji's parent had a buisness trip to go on so the kids were left alone. "Takeo why did mama and papa leave?" Kenji asked. "Because they have a buisness trip" Takeo answered. "But why?" Kenji asked. "I don't know Kenj" said Takeo. "Probably something about the buisness their running."

Ding! Dong! Their door bell rang. Takeo went over to the door and looked through the peep hole. He saw an old man with a grey beard then opened the door. "Um, hello" Takeo greeted. "Hi, is this the Sato residence" said the old man. "Yes" Takeo answered. The old man grabbed Takeo and hugged him tightly. "What are you doing?" Takeo asked while pushing him off. "Well that's no way to treat your ojiisan" said the old man. "What!" Takeo said shockingly. "Your not my grandfather." "May I please come in?" the old man asked. "Uh sure.........wait!" said Takeo. He checked the old man for any weapons before he came into the house. "Okay, you can come in" said Takeo.

"Hi sir" Kenji greeted the old man. "Who's this Takeo?" "This guy claims he's our grandfather" said Takeo. "Is he really?" Kenji said with excitement. "Of course he's not, he's such a bluff" said Takeo. "I am really your grandfather" said the old man. "My name is Makoto and I am your father's father." "My father's parents are dead, so you can't be our grandfather" said Takeo. "Why don't you ask me some questions then?" Makoto asked. "Okay" Takeo and Kenji said in unison.

"What's my father's name?" Kenji asked. "Daichi Akio Sato" Makoto answered. "That's correct Takeo, he's our grandfather" said Kenji. "That was just a lucky guess" said Takeo. "How many siblings does my father have?" "None, he was an only child" Makoto answered. "That's correct Takeo " said Kenji. "That was another lucky guess" Takeo said in denial. "Okay last question, what is my father's favorite sport that he played as a kid?" "Lacrosse, he was the best player on his team and his team won every single game" said Makoto.

Takeo was full of shock, he had no idea what to say. "But this can't be" said Takeo. "Papa's parents are dead." "His mother who was my wife is dead" said Makoto. "What are you boys names and ages?" "I'm Takeo and I'm 13" he said. "My name's Kenji and I'm 9" he said. "Such magnificent names and such magnificent young men" said Makoto. "Does my father know your alive?" Takeo asked. "No" said Makoto.

"When your father was 10 years old, I left to a place far away from home because I was looking for a special diamond" said Makoto. "I lost my job and I needed to provide for your father and my wife." "So I went on a journey to find that diamond which was worth millions and millions of dollars" said Makoto. "Millions?" Kenji asked. "Millions" Makoto replied. "Wow!" said Kenji. "But it took me several months to find it." "I couldn't give up, but then it took me a whole year and a half but I didn't find it."

"Later I just gave up so I tried to go back home but then I was captured by a man named Sir Ryuu" said Makoto. "He held me in a chamber for many years." "Then I broke free and I tried to find my way back home." "Wow! What a story ojiisan" said Takeo. "Yes, it quite is" said Makoto. "But the reason why I'm here is because there is trouble back in Japan caused by Sir Ryuu and his minions." "The same guy that captured you?" Kenji asked. "Yes" said Makoto."You two are the ones that are chosen to save Japan." "Why us?" Takeo asked. "Because you two are the chosen ones" Makoto replied.

"Why are we the chosen ones?" Kenji asked. "I don't know" said Makoto. "But ojiisan, we don't really know any thing fighting" said Takeo. "Don't worry, I'll teach you how to fight like ninjas" said Makoto. Takeo looked at Makoto like he was kidding but he was actually serious. "Ninjas, cool" said Kenji. Makoto decided that he would be the one to stay with them while Takeo and Kenji's parents were on their buisness trip.
