Your POV
It's 10:30PM on the 31st of October, and I can see my boyfriend Shawn looking nervous, his eyes wide open and breathing a little fast.

"Baby? What's the matter?" I went up to him and tapped his shoulder. He screamed loudly as if a monster was about to attack him and he turned around to face me.

"Shawn! Calm down, it's just me!" I cooed and he began to have some sort of panic attack. He runs to the couch in the living room and I follow him. I crushed him into a hug and his body began to shake uncontrollably.

"Hey, shhh. You're fine. I'm right here..." I held his hand and he coughed loudly. He held onto me for dear life.

Once he calmed down, I asked him what's bothering him.

"Today's the anniversary..."

"Of what?"

"...of the night I got traumatized! I'm sorry I never told you this story, Y/N. I didn't want you worried." He sniffles and more tears fell out of his eyes. I hug him again and his cries became louder.

"Sorry, Shawn. I just wanted to make sure you're okay." I almost teared up myself, while he cried onto my shoulder.

"Today brings back horrible memories from that fateful day. It still sends me nightmares, Y/N and I can't seem to forget it!" He whimpered.

"W-Well can you tell me what happened? I mean if you want to..." I can feel him nod and got out some tissues for him.

"Well, it was October 31st at my university. It was a dark and stormy day, with nothing out to see except the heavy rain and powerful winds..."

Shawn's POV
I was about to finish another lecture in class, we were all looking forward to finishing the day and head back home to relax. There was just a little over 5 minutes left, and I began to pack away my stuff as well as my fellow students around me.

Out of nowhere, I hear a frightened voice over the intercom.

"LOCKDOWN! LOCKDOWN! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!"

That was followed by the sounds of gunshots. I gulped deeply and feared that our administrator has been killed.

I can sense by the voice that he had panic all over his tone. Following protocol, our professor quickly shut the door, turned off all the lights and lead us into a corner of the room where it would be a little difficult to see from outside.

Not long later, I heard a frantic scream coming out of the hallway. Judging on how loud it was, I began to breathe a little abnormally as I knew that he wasn't far from our room. People started crying, a couple of girls next to me were on the brink of having a panic attack.

It's 4:35PM now.

Only three minutes since the call for lockdown initiated. I can hear more screams and banging on doors that were close to our room. He sounded like he was mental and that he will do all he can to make his mission a success. I was stuck in my thoughts for a while that I didn't realize I was now crying hard.
