CHAPTER 4:

Niall Horan:

Part 2:

I remember during the blackness, hearing Georgie’s voice several times. And I remember hearing Harry. But that’s about it. I remember hearing Georgie tell me about her day, and then it turned into weeks. Every time it would end in her saying

Niall, I hope you can hear me. I love you so much, please wake up. I miss you.’

A bright, white light flashed before my eyes. Slowly I opened them. Everything was blurry at first but one thing was clear. I wasn’t in the car anymore. I sat up. I felt so stiff and my bones were aching like mad! After my eyes had adjusted I looked around and the first thing I saw was my baby girl Georgie asleep on the chair beside my bed.

“Hey gorgeous.” I said hoping to wake her up. I know I shouldn’t have done that, but I felt like I hadn’t seen her in months.

“Georgie?” I called out a little louder. She stirred and stretched up. Her eyes opened and saw me.

“Niall?!” She squealed. She jumped up and hopped onto the bed. She crawled up to me and kissed me, running her fingers through my hair and saying something in between the kisses.

“I-missed-you-so-bloody-much!”

I placed my hands on her hips.

“Let the man breath Georgie!” Harry had just walked in the door smiling. Georgie got off and lay down next to me.

“Hey man! How you feeling?” He said.

“Umm… Hungry, VERY hungry” Georgie laughed. I wasn’t kidding, I was starving!

“I’ll go get you some real food. But I may be a while… Is Macca’s still open at 8AM?” She said.

“Oh no shit George, the 24/7 McDonalds is shut at 8 in the freaking morning…” Harry said sarcastically.

“Hey! Just because my brain doesn’t kick in till 10!” She laughed again. That was one thing I loved most about Georgie, she always put a smile on her face. Georgie grabbed her purse and walked out the door. But before she left she gave me a kiss and said

“I’ll always love you. We’ll always find a way back to each other.”

Harry, Liam, Lou and Paul were all here talking to me. Georgie was still out. It was 8:24AM.

“So how long have I been gone for?” I asked.

“8 months” Paul replied.

“It was driving Georgie up the wall with frustration” Lou said smirking a little.

I just smiled and tried to cover up the lump that had just appeared in the sheets. 8 months without it? I couldn’t believe I hadn’t already exploded! Suddenly the stench of a Big Mac wafted through the door. Georgie had just returned. Thank the lord!

It had been about 3 weeks since I woke up. I was finally getting out and going home. Well, not home to Ireland, home to Ceres with Georgie. The doctors had tested me to make sure I was alright to leave. I could walk again which was nice. The car pulled in the driveway and I got out as fast as possible. The dogs, Molly, Miffy, Annabelle, Barnie, Budger, Archie and Roxy came bolting towards me. Barnie, who was a husky, knocked me to the ground and then all of them were on top of me licking my face with excitement. I heard Georgie whistle.

“Come here guys!” she called out. The dogs all got off and ran back to her.

“Hey! I’ve been waiting all day! Where were you?” She asked me.
