The princess only wakes up with the kiss of her true love. Prince Anderson has to go and wake her from her slumber so they can live happily ever after.
But for Prince Anderson marrying the sleeping girl is not on his list of things he wants to do. It was miles from the castle where the sleeping blond is in. Prince Anderson walked beside a knight in shinning armor because he didn't feel like riding his stunning white horse. He hardly said a word this whole trip, mainly because everyone stayed silent, you could hear a bee from one hundred yards away.
Prince Anderson was a young man, quite short, but not way to short. People thought his hair was black, but actually it was just a really dark brown, it looked darker because of all the gel he puts in. Its naturally a huge mop on the top of his head, but always being in the spotlight his mom got it cut when ever it was even close to how he liked it.
"Prince Anderson. We are a few miles to your princess." One of the older men said to him. He nodded and gave a weak smile.
They got closer to the castle. It was a light grey with dark green vines taking it over. He took a deep breath before stepping in the building. It was the coldest place hes ever been in since his family trip up north for his fathers sisters funeral. He took the jacket he was wearing and tightened it, as he finally walked up the stairs to the room with her in it he noticed it got colder with every step.
The room was a deep yellow, from what he recalls its her favorite color. In the middle of the room was a glass case, and inside is the girl. Her hair was a dirty blond, not like the bleach blond his parents told him. Her hair was in a high bun with the crown around it. Her dress was a royal blues, supposedly the same color as her eyes.
Prince Anderson stood a few feet back as the knights took the glass off the marble bed.
"It's all clear." One of them said to the Prince. He started steping closer and closer to the girl. He is going to kiss her, even though he forgot her name. He leaned down and put his lips on hers.
They were chapped, and really cold. There was noting speical in this, he didn't enjoy this in the slightest. He quickly stopped and whipped his lips with the sleeve of his jacket.
"Why didn't she wake up?" Every was thinking but only one person was brave enough to say it out loud. Prince Anderson just turned and walked out the room. The feel of the chapped lips was the most unplesent thing the young prince has ever exprinced.

"Where is the princess?" The queen asked as she saw her son walk in without the female on his arms. He just ran up to his room to get away from everyone, he knew why she didn't wake up. He was hoping for a few more months of peace before he had to say anything.
"Son can we talk?" He decided that he had to tell them, so this might be the only time he can with just his parents.
"Yeah. It's unlocked." The prince said not looking towards the door, but at himself, in the mirror above he matte black dresser. The door slowly opened to show his mother, the queen, and father, the king.
"Honey?" His mom's voice was soft and caring, he was relaxing slightly just by the sound of it. "Honey what's wrong."
"Mother, father. I know why she didn't wake up." The young many looked said looking down towards the ground while turning around. The prince wishes his family was not the royals because they have to seem perfect , when in fact they are the opposite
"Why?" They asked as they sit on the bed. They looked at their son that they loved so much, but they were confused, didn't know what was going to be said to them, that also made them scared.
