"Wait, you're actually going to sign up?"
Ophelia paced after her sister to the bulletin board, where the older girl signed her name in rich black ink. Mercedes scoffed, and rolled her eyes, before offering the pen to her sibling.
"And you're not?" Mercedes asked, "I know you want to."
The brown eyed girl sighed, glancing down at her hands. The ruffles of her shirt, striped with yellow and blue, caught her gaze and she finally gave in, snatching the pen from her sister's hand. She quickly signed her name, before storming to next class, cursing her sister for being so persuasive.
Mercedes looked back at the sheet, smirking at where the cursive writing sat.
Ophelia Jones.

"Next!"
Ophelia walked out onto the stage, squinting slightly at the bright lights, but she could just make out where Mr Schuester was sitting.
"Hi, I'm Ophelia Jones," She grinned, "And I'll be singing Moon River from the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'."
She stepped up to the mic and cleared her throat, hearing the backing track begin. Taking a deep breath, she began the song.
'Moon river, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style someday...'

By the end of the song, Mr Schuester was in awe of the girl in front of him. Although the song was simple, it portrayed her vocal range perfectly. He stood up from his seat, applauding her.
Ophelia blushed, and giggled as the teacher gushed about how amazing the solo was. After finding out the rehearsal times, she made her way out of the auditorium, to where Mercedes was waiting in the corridor.
"So?" She urged.
"I got in!" Ophelia grinned.
"See, I told you!" Mercedes laughed, "I'll see you in Glee Club then."
"See you then!" The youngest sister waved, before skipping to lunch.

'Sit down your rocking the boat!'
The group of six held the last note, with their jazz hands all over the place. Artie Abrams, a boy in Ophelia's science class, was wheeled to the side, clashing with a few music stands.
