"I'm not getting involved with this Stanley Tucci guy," Ophelia looked towards her older sister, while handing her a bowl of cereal.

"His name is Dakota Stanley," Mercedes informed, ignoring the younger girl's eye roll, "And he's our only chance of winning and going to Nationals."

"If the whole Glee Club thinks that, should we really be going anyway?" Ophelia left her sister speechless, so with nothing more to comment on, she grabbed her backpack and headed for the bus stop.

"Hey!" Puck waved at the girl coming around the corner, with her rainbow striped playsuit and patch covered denim jacket complimented everything about her, at least in Noah's opinion.

"Hey, Noah," She smiled, "Uh, so... the library?"

"I was actually thinking we could leave the studying for today," Puck smiled, and Ophelia looked towards him, squinting slightly from the sun.

"Uh, yeah, sure," She nodded, "Where'd you wanna go?"

"Well, I'm hungry to start, so ice-cream?" The boy smirked.

"Sounds like a plan," Ophelia hummed, as the bus rounded the corner. She fumbled through her bag until she found a few loose coins that would fund her ticket. "Have you got change for your ticket?"

Noah stuck his hands in his pockets, before pulling out two dollars, "Yeah."

Ophelia stepped onto the bus, before smiling at the driver. "A single ticket, please." The man punched a few buttons and took Ophelia's money. The small piece of paper was ripped from the machine and pushed to the bottom of the girl's handbag, lost for the next few months.

She quietly thanked the middle-aged man in the driver's seat, and she turned to find a seat, hearing Puck pay for his ticket behind her. Ophelia hastily made her way to the set of four seats, two facing another two. She flops onto one and lifts her feet, resting them on the opposite chair.

Noah arrives a few moments later, sitting next to the seat occupied by Ophelia's feet. He gazes over at her in silence, as she rests her head against the window, watching the houses and trees whiz past, seemingly faster than the bus was moving.

Ophelia pulled her phone and earphones from her jacket pocket, placing the end in the socket. She inserted one bud in her left ear, and lifted her head to make eye contact with Puck. She lifted the right bud, offering it towards him, who subtly nodded. Ophelia shuffled from her seat to the one opposite, and handed Puck the earphone.

She scrolled though her music, eventually just clicking shuffle and waited for the harmonies to flood both their senses.

In the morning, when you wake up,

I like to believe you are thinking of me.

Ophelia silently laughed to herself at the irony of the song. She could sense Puck moving no more than a centimetre towards her, causing her heart rate to pick up its pace.
