"Come on (Y.N)!" Winwin yelled as he ran into the ruins.
Your job was to find monsters and lock them up so they wouldn't hurt others. You knew it was a dangerous job but you couldn't just leave all these monsters roaming around. People like these existed for a long time, some helped the world like Winwin, but others turned to the dark side (Monsters) and decided that the world was their own.
"How come your power sucks?" you asked scoffing as Winwin levitated a large pile of wood to the side.
"At least I have a power." He replied snickering as he ran his fingers through your hair, messing it up.
You were about to smack his hand away when you heard something behind the pile of wood. Winwin looked towards you nodding as he reached for his gun.
"NO!"
A tall handsome man appeared from behind the pile of wood. His hair was colored pink and his clothes were torn to the point of where you could see things that you did not need to see.
"Who are you?" Winwin asked as he lifted up his gun slowly aiming towards the strangers head.
"My name is Taeyong. I.. I'm one of them."
"ONE OF WHAT?!" Winwin shouted, stepping closer.
The strange man lifted his arms up, surrendering as he shook his head rapidly.
"I'm not on the evil side though I swear. You can do research on me, take DNA samples, whatever. I'll tell you what happened to me, just help me get rid of this hideousness."
You looked at Winwin nervously as sweat trickled down your forehead... This might be a trick.
"What is your power then? Show us what you're made of." You demanded.
"Please don't laugh though."
You nodded crossing your arms.
Taeyong sighed and scratched the back of his head and let out 2 long pink ears.
"WHAT ARE THOSE?! DO YOU HAVE FOUR EARS? CAN YOU HEAR THOUGHTS?! WHAT THE-" Winwin yelled questioning his own life.
Taeyong shrugged, rubbing his ears. They were the same color as his hair.
"I think I hear like a regular person." He muttered.
"I don't get it. What is your super power?" You asked confused.
"I chew things well."
Winwin scoffed and placed down his gun and scratched his head in confusion.
"Why could you want to get rid of your power then?"
"I look ridiculous and Everything is too soft."
"So are you like a human bunny?" Winwin asked innocently.
You hit him and watched as he winced in pain.
"Sure we'll help you." You said, motioning him to come towards you.
The moment he stood in front of you, you realized how tall he was. You reached behind his head and lightly scratched and rubbed his ear as he closed his eyes in delight, smiling as he bent down to let you pet him more. Winwin just stared in awkwardness and decided to leave you two alone. ______
*2 years later*
Nobody managed to find a cure so instead Taeyong promised to work by your side fighting against the bad guys. At first nobody thought that his power would come in handy but his strong teeth managed to chew through tough bars to let the whole group through.
You became the best of friends. Taeyong was like the dad of the group while you and Winwin were the children that didn't really know anything. ______ You were at the company's barbecue party watching Taeyong teach Winwin how to use the machines and how to make the meat tender enough. He even held onto Winwin's hand and guided him while they were preparing food so you laughed and took pictures to torture them later. They had the same frustrated expression and the same pink apron too.
Like father like son
You captioned as you posted the picture on Instagram.
Immediately tons of old school friends and co-workers liked the photo. So you looked up and winked at the co-workers that made heart shapes and kissy face towards them. Taeyong who heard weird noises looked up in confusion before he speedwalked his way over as his pink fluffy ears bounced behind him, leaving Winwin to deal with the meat.
"Why are they doing that." He muttered softly as he sat next to you.
"Oh nothing." you muttered back smiling as if you didn't know anything.
Taeyong stared into your eyes for a long time, pupils dilating as you stared at him back causing him to turn a little pink just before he looked away.
"*cough* anyways what are you doing now?" He asked, looking at Winwin who just burnt a piece of meat and was looking around to see where to throw it.
"Nothing."
Taeyong nodded, looking back towards you.
"So..." Taeyong started, fumbling around with his long fingers. "You wanna go out?"
This came out of nowhere.
"Okay." You squeaked blushing.
"Really?" He asked turning his head to give you a big smile. "You'll be calling me daddy soon then."
He grabbed a cherry and put the stem in his mouth and muttered Cherry bomb and kissed the air while looking directly in your eyes. He took the cherry out and ate it before he grabbed your hand and ran over to where Winwin was.
