"(Y.N)!"I whispered harshly into the phone as I quickly grabbed our baby boy into my arms "They found us!"

Hearing you gasp and pant through the phone as you tell me to head towards the car gives me all the adrenaline to sprint out the back door, leaving it open since we were never going to go back anyways. Thank god you are safe and thank god you decided to go get groceries today.

It's been months since we've heard from them, we were idiots to think everything was fine now. As I finally turned the last corner to get to our car I turned and checked if they were still lurking and sighed. "They're still back there, we have a chance." I whispered softly kissing our baby's forehead who was sleeping as if nothing was going on.

The newfound hope in my heart was diminished as I watch you pull your hair and slam the wheel. Not knowing it would be the last time seeing your beautiful face I stopped, too scared to know the truth. Countless questions invalided my mind as I looked at our baby once again questioning if it was going to be our last day on earth when a loud booming sound happened up where the car was. My head snapped up only to be met with shards of glass causing me to fall. Ignoring the ringing in my ears and all the pain I felt I turned towards my left and right and sighed in relief seeing our baby staring back now awake.

Of course they bombed the car...they've probably been tracking us the whole time. Tears erupted in my eyes as I stood up and walked towards our baby, picking him up and cradling him in my arms refusing to look back to see the ruins of your beautiful body. I don't know why he is not crying seeing as blood oozed from his face but as I gave him one last kiss I ran, ran as fast as my legs could take me as I heard one last boom come from our house.

I don't know what will happen to us but we will figure it out together, your mother is watching us from up above now and she's got our back.
