Friday came and went by pretty fast for Monica at work who already let the project manager know she would be leaving around 2:00pm today not her normal 3:30-4:30 time she usually leaves for an appointment. No I didn't tell her the real reason. That's no body's business. It technically is an appointment, with my former teacher 😉. Monica just wanted enough time to get ready, have her hair and makeup to perfection and make sure her house is spotless in case Mark wants a tour of her home. One thing that wasn't asked/discussed, was if Mark was just driving here for tonight only? Was he staying st a hotel and here for he weekend? Or was he heading back to Durham after our date? Monica is a ball of nerves as she's trying to frantically complete a few more tickets before running out of the office.

Mark has been rather calm so far today. At first he was worried about the awkwardness of the situation since Monica technically IS a former student, however this isn't a normal thing for Mark. He's professional, has a great reputation at the university and is involved as an advisor in a few student organizations apart of the college of arts and sciences. Mark still hasn't decided for how long he's staying. He thought it might be too soon to stay the whole weekend but maybe things go so well that he does. He decided to pack a few extra shirts and jeans and slacks in an overnight bag just in case. He really didn't want to drive back to Durham late at night even though its a short drive. He's not going to try anything too far tonight after what happened the other night. He's looking forward to seeing Monica, have some great conversations, see if the chemistry is still there in person and see what happens the rest of the night. Now he's headed off to Raleigh.

Okay Mark should be here any minute as Monica took one final look in the mirror. She wore a form-fitting black dress that hugged her curves in the right places and showed off just a little bit of cleavage but enough to leave some to the imagination. She has on the perfect amount of make-up and red lipstick and her caramel skin is glowing from the light tan she has from this hot Raleigh July weather.
