Max POV
We hovered above the school, and watched as an army of wolf hybrids marched in perfect rows.

I nodded at Percy, who screwed his face up in concentration. Suddenly, I heard the pipes burst and the water tanks explode, flooding the inside.

We dropped behind a wall, and I gestured to Harry. He lifted his wand and closed his eyes, muttering something under his breath.

A lightning bolt erupted in the sky, and hit the central water tank. The hybrids I could see were fried, and I assumed the humans were too.

Hovering just above the water, we flew into the building, past the crispy staff. I cracked the safe hidden in Jeb's office, containing information to the Director's office safe.

I held up a rumpled piece of paper to Harry's lumos light, and the passwords shone through.

In her office, I held up a hand for Harry and Percy to stop. Grabbing a piece of Scotch tape, I pressed it against her thumb and dusted it with eyeshadow.

Then, running it against the scanner, I told the boys the instructions.

"Percy, you're on lookout. Harry, use the Patronus charm to run past this light sensor here, hold it, I'll get the files. Got it?" They nodded, and Percy moved outside.

"Okay, you ready?" Harry closed his eyes and nodded.

"One, two, three."

"Expecto patronum!" A silver stag burst from the tip of his wand, and darted past the sensor.

The gate opened, and I felt my blood light up with super-adrenaline. Faster than sound, I bolted in and out, dragging Harry along with me.

"Percy, let's go!" I screamed as the sirens wailed.

We sprinted out and up into the air. As soon as we were above the clouds, I tossed down a baseball- like sphere to the School.

"What was that?" Percy asked. I grinned slyly. "A bomb. Now, hold my hands, tightly."

The boys have each other nervous glances, and I rolled my eyes. "I have super speed. We need to get out of here in three seconds."

Understanding, they grabbed my palms, Harry on the right, Percy on the left, as I felt heat surge through my body. In two seconds, we were thirty miles away.

With my super hearing, I can sense the explosion. Percy and Harry winced simultaneously at the blast.

"Okay, at regular speed, with eight hours for rest per night and an hour for breaks and buying food per day, we'll be there in four days."

"Okay." Chorused the boys.

LINE BREAK

Exhausted, I dropped in front of the gates and looked at Harry. "You sure this is it?"

He simply nodded tiredly, and we walked in. A few minutes later, two great doors appeared in view.

"This is the Great Hall," said Harry. Percy pushed them open, and we gaped together at the sight before us.

The ceiling resembled a starry night, and the windows stretched far to the inky black. I was remotely aware that the entire Hall was staring at us, until I was tackled by something- no, someone.

Practically spitting out brown curls, I stood up. "Nudge? You okay? You're crying, what happened?" I said, stopping down to her level.

The rest of the flock stood awkwardly behind her. "Uh, hey guys. What's up?" I vaguely registered Percy kissing a girl with blonde curls, and Harry hugging a red-headed girl.

Fang marched up to me, and I thought I was going to be punched, but instead received a rib-breaking hug. Of course, then the rest of the flock decided to join in, piling on top of me.

"Okay, okay," I said. "That's enough. Ow, there goes my shoulder." Reluctantly, they all pulled back and gave me sorry-not-sorry smiles.

"So, what did you guys do?" asked Gazzy. Hearing his question, Percy and Harry joined me in the centre of our little group. The rest of Hogwarts were listening eagerly.

"Well, uhm, er..."

"We flooded The School!" chorused Percy and Harry, as they excitedly slapped high fives.

The flock's eyes grew wide. "You what?!"

"Then fried the Erasers and staff!" exclaimed Harry.

"And broke into some lady's oh so super secure safe." added Percy.

"And then Max blew the whole place up!" finished Harry.

The room fell perfectly silent for a looooong moment, until the flock exploded into cheers and tackled all of us to the ground.

"My wand!" Harry shrieked. "I think it's broken!"

Instantly, the flock retreated, and students put their hands on their mouths. Apparently wands were super important here or something.

"Nah, not really," said Harry, accepting Percy's hand to pull him up. "I just am not a fan of being crowded. Childhood trauma, I guess."

We all nodded in understanding. As practically birds, we could identify with not wanting to be trapped. That and we spent our "Dora the Explorer" years stuck in cages instead.

LINE BREAK

After saying goodbye to everyone, the flock and I had Harry show us to the astronomy tower, were through a large window I could see sparkling orbs against an sapphire-blue background.

"Goodbye, Harry," I said, bringing him in for a hug.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay here for the night?" He asked.

"Nah, it's okay. We gotta get on the road. Or, in the sky, whatever."

"Okay. Bye, Max." "Bye, Harry."

"If you ever need anything, contact me." He said. "Same for you."

I then whirled around and sprinted out of the window, unfurling my wings halfway down and flapping up to the clouds.

"Goodbye, Hogwarts."
