Percy

We heaved on our packs, and began to spread my wings, but the thunderclouds closing in worried me. Zeus wasn't exactly okay with Poseidon blood invading his airspace.
Thunder rumbled, and I grimaced. "Hey, maybe we should stay here. You know, for tonight."

Harry shot me a confused look, and Max glared at me. "Why? You scared of heights, Aquaman?" She accused. I swallowed. "No, it's just-" Lightning flashed, and I saw too strikes engulf my team, before myself was struck, and teleported to Olympus.

I saw two more flashes, and Harry and Max were beside me. I felt Max go into a battle position. "No," I breathed. "It's okay."
I approached the center throne, and gave a slight nod. "Lord Zeus." I then turned and faced Poseidon. "Father," I said, a grin plastered to my face. He shared the same one. "Son." Harry came up to me. "Hey, Perce? Who's this?"

"The gods," I replied casually. His eyebrow raised, but no response. I guess that happens when you're a wizard.

"Perseus," Zeus grunted and shrunk down.

"Who is this?" "These are my f- this is my team. Max," I nodded at Max, "and Harry." I said.
"Who's their parent?" My face flushed, and I coughed, trying to stall. "Uh..."
Harry stepped forward and gave a wide grin. "Lord Zeus. I am a son of Hecate, and Maximum here is a daughter of Athena."
Max grunted, but kept quiet. Athena descended to us, her brows furrowed. "I never had a daughter named Maximum."

I stepped in now.

"You wouldn't have known her. Her way of birth was kept from the gods." "How is that possible? We see all." She gestured to the wide windows, overlooking New York.

Right then the doors busted open, and all of the Seven swarmed through. I whipped around, startled.

"Annabeth?" My voice cracked. She smiled at me, looking relieved. "Percy!" She started towards me, but I backed away.

"Ah-"

"Who are you?" She glared at Max and Harry. "What do you want with Percy?" Her tone made me flinch.

"Look," I said, putting my hands up. "They didn't kidnap me. I wanted to go with them. I-I need to."

Jason moved forward, mouth pressed into a grim line. "Percy," his voice was hard. "You're being possessed. If you just come with us..." He put a hand on my shoulder, and I shook out of it.

"No!" Tears welled in my eyes now. "I can't! I need to complete my mission!" With that, I sprinted to the window, my team at my heels, and shattered the glass, falling out.

"Percy!" Annabeth's voice cut through the sound of breaking glass.

I unfurled my wings, and flew away, flapping in sync with Harry and Max's. All of a sudden a certain blond boy crashed into me, knocking me down about ten feet and taking my breath away (not like that! You know what I mean.)

"Jason! Stop! I need to go with them!" Realization dawned on his face, and he gave a slight nod. I blinked away tears as he flew away.

Nudge
I tried to ignore my exhaustion, but it weighed too heavily on my eyelids, and wings. "Fang, can we take a break? I mean, I know you want to find Max, I do too, but..." He pulled up sharply, and I did the same. His eyes were hard, but softened when he saw my haggard face.

"Okay," he pointed to the woods. "We'll sleep there for six hours. I'll keep watch."

We settled in a tree, and I slept for a while. A breeze brushed my cheek, startling me awake. Fang was above the treetops now, and I followed swiftly.

"Fang, what are you doing?" He turned to me.

"Going to find her. You can't stop me. Take care of the flock."

I didn't want him to leave, but I understood. He loved Max more than anyone, and it was driving him crazy. I nodded.

"Be safe."
Fang gave me a small smile.

"Always am."

The next morning he was still gone, and I had to explain. They knew how much Max meant to him, and we started back to the house.
