"Connor," I said, looking at him through my peripheral vision. "Stop staring at me."

"Sorry," he said briskly, but after he looked away, he looked back again, his eyes narrowing as he examined my face. "It's just...Trevor?"

"Wow, thanks, Connor." Trevor laughed.

"He's right, though," Kian said. "You guys literally look nothing alike."

"Yeah, really," Sam said, nodding. "Your eyebrows are, ah,"

"Bigger?" I helped with a laugh.

"Well...yeah."

"Yeah, I get that a lot." I shrugged. "He looks like his dad and I look like my mom. Two different sides of the family."

"I wanted to ask you that before," Connor said. "Why do you live with Trevor? What happened to your parents?"

They died.

"Uh," I said, looking away. "I don't know, I don't really see them anymore, I guess."

"Why?"

Because they're dead.

"They live far away." Really, really far away.

"Where?"

"Man, you're just full of questions, aren't you?" I snapped, more rudely than I was hoping for. "Sorry, it's just a touchy subject is all."

"In that case, I won't bring it up again."

"Thank you," I said with a grateful smile. At that moment, Jc sat on the couch, handing me a bottle of root beer. "And thank you."

"No problem. Okay, Nora, since we don't know a lot about you, I thought it'd be nice to ask you some questions about yourself."

"This isn't gonna be another video, is it?" I asked with a grimace. To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of filming, even if I had only done it twice.

"No," he laughed. "Unless you want it to be."

"No, no I'm good." I shook my head furiously. They all laughed, except Ricky, who was eyeing me closely. I quirked an eyebrow at him.

"What?"

"Nothing," he said. "But...Trevor?"

"Yes. He's my actual cousin."

After being asked very random, and somewhat personal, questions, Trevor and I headed home.

At the moment, we were blasting Beyoncé and having a little too much fun with ourselves.

I should really be focusing more on the road than Beyoncé's voice.

"I've been drinkin'," he yelled from beside me, in his real voice. "I've been drinkin'."

His singing voice is actually very good. He's got a very smooth voice, and I can tell he enjoys it. It's his thing.

See, we all have our thing in the family. Trevor is the singer, always singing, Blake - Trevor's older brother and my younger cousin - is the athletic one, excelling in many sports, and I was the dancer. Yes, believe it or not, I'm a dancer. Ballet and Hip Hop: two completely different genres of dance. But I loved them both and couldn't decide which one to choose, so I did them both.

I guess you could say I'm pretty flexible.

"Nora," Trevor said, turning the dial to lower the volume. "What'd you think of the boys?"

I shrugged, keeping my eyes on the road. "They're alright, I guess."

"Got your eye out for any of them?" he joked, I think, nudging me with my elbow.

"Yes, Trev. I'm in love with the boys I met not even twenty four hours ago." I said, sarcasm lacing my tone. He scoffed from beside me.

"It was a joke. And I know you have a thing with that Sal kid, it's okay."

"Sal and I don't have a thing," I faced him incredulously as we stopped at a stoplight. "Why would you think that?"

"You're always with him, I just figured. Not to mention you've had past things."

It was true. Sal Rodriguez - a friend of mine since kindergarten - and I had had a few...romantic encounters in our teenage years, but we're all good now. We're friends. Great, great friends.

"That was the past. This is the present."

"And tomorrow will be the future," he played along. "Where are you trying to go with this?"

"Forget it, you're not even sixteen yet."
