Chapter Four. POV: Audrey
After we had gotten situated in the car we headed straight to the mall. We went in a store called "Baby Closet" to get all the things we needed. The store had everything we needed. I wanted to just get to the apartment and get this over with and I'm sure he did too, so I came up with the genius idea of splitting up. "Okay, you go on the right side of the store and get anything you think the babies will need. I'll go on the left. We will meet back here on thirty minutes to see if we have everything. I'll take Autumn with me and you can take Penny."
"Okay. Let's do this," with that we were off getting two carts and going on our own. I found diapers, bibs, binkies, blankets, and sheets for the cribs. I went to the front of the store to see Jacob already there waiting for me. "Hey, I got the diapers, bibs, binkies, blankets, and sheets for the cribs." I looked in his cart to see that it was filled to the brim with stuff. How did he get all that and still beat me back to the front of the store. My cart wasnt even half full.
"I found clothes, food, highchairs, cribs, toys, and these cool chairs that teach them how to sit," he tells me. "Lets go get in line."

The apartment was amazing. The living room has dark brown walls with red curtains and a red couch. There was a good sized flat screen on the opposite wall of the couch. The kitchen was another reason it was amazing. It had yellow walls with black cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There were only two bedrooms which wasn't okay because I was not going to share a bed with Jacob. Yeah he had showed a new side of himself that is nice but I still don't exactly trust him. It could all be an act so I don't exactly trust him. He could try something or touch me while we are sleeping. Who cares you'll be asleep. Shut up. Im not taking any chances. "You're sleeping on the couch," I say giving him a stern look.
"Come on. The couch doesnt look comfortable," he said giving me the puppy dog look.
I will not give in to that look. "Sleep on the floor then. I don't care where you sleep as long as it's not the bed."
He frowned. "Ugh fi-," he was cut off by Penny crying in his arms. He looked down and started rocking her carrying on with his sentence once she started to quiet down. "Fine. I'll sleep on the floor by the bed. AS long as i get a pillow and two blankets.
I gave him an incredulous look.
"The floor is wood. I need some type of padding."
That's understandable, "Okay," I replied.
He had to choose the floor didnt he. Why couldn't he have chosen the couch. The couch looks far more comfortable then the floor. Him choosing the floor has me feeling slightly guilty... Oh well. As long as he's not in the same bed I'm fine. "Go ahead." With that said I went to the twins's room. I was surprised to see that it had no furniture at all but a rocking chair. I guess it didn't matter if there was no furniture cause we got all that we needed at the store. I sat down in the rocking chair and looked around. The walls were light pink and the curtains were yellow as if they knew what gender we would pick. Penny was sleeping in my arms and I'm getting tired of holding her so I decided it was time to put the cribs together. I should get up to get Jacob... Nah I'll just yell. "Jacob!" I shouted. "What?" he yelled not coming into the room. Someones lazy. Well I guess I'm not one to talk since i yelled for him in the first place. "Come build the cribs!"
"But I'm setting up the Xbox." Xbox? We haven't even gone to his house yet. How'd he get an
Xbox?"What Xbox?" I shouted back to him. I'm surprised Penny is still sleeping to all of this.
"I keep an extra one in my car so I can play on my own at my friends houses." Well that's dumb. Someone could steal it.
"I don't care! Come build them."
"No"
This will obviously take some bribing. Hmm. Money? No his parents are obviously loaded with cash. He has two Xbox's for crying out loud. I know! The bed. "I'll let you sleep in the bed!" At that h came running in carrying Autumn.
"Okay," he said handing me Autumn to hold too.
*******
An hour and a half later he finally finished. He had lost a couple screws so he had to run to the hardware store to replace them.
I handed him the babies so I could inspect the cribs. They were both white with little floral designes at eash side with straight white poles so the babies couldn't get out. They were both simple which I liked. I put the sheets on the beds and took the babies into my arms before kissing there foreheads and tucking them into bed.
"Finally my arms were getting so tired." My stomach growled, "What time is it?" I asked him. He looked at his phione and back at me. "Six." No wonder my stomach growled its dinner time!
"We don't exactly have food so what should we do for dinner?" I asked.
"Hmm." He thought for a minute, "We could do Chinese take-out or pizza."
"Pizza! But you have to call. Get Pepperoni."
"No way am I getting Pepperoni. It's disgusting. We're getting cheese."
Boooorrrinngg. "Okay let's do rock paper scissors and whoever wins gets the pizza of there choice."
He nodded putting his hands in front of him. "Okay. Ready? Rock. Paper. Scissors."
I chose paper he chose scissors. Darn. He wins round one. "Rock. Paper. Scissors."
I chose scissors he chose paper. Yes! "Haha! Okay final round! Rock. Paper. Scissors."
I chose rock and he chose scissors. Yay! Pepperoni! "Haha! WE are getting pepperoni!" I did a little happy dance.
"Fine," he said grumpily taking out his phone.
