I SILENTLY LANDED ON the floor with my four paws, trotting through the gate of the house with ease. It was dead in the night, no lights was on, no one was in sight. The air had the faint scent of rain and mud.

I jumped through the cat door and entered the entertaining room. My body was aching from the 4 guys I nudged into, who knew one could adore cats so much that they would punch and kick them? It was infuriating that I was in my cat form instead of human, I could knock them out before they could even say, 'Meow.' I had to claw on their skin to break free from their loving hold on me and let's just say, they weren't happy.

I sniffed the air for any signs of humans. I heard there were increasing number of break-ins in the neighborhood these past few days. People were just that desperate for money. I wouldn't judge them, I'm a contract killer for a reason.

I shifted into my human form and let out a yawn, stretching my body from the stiffness. My body reeked of blood and sweat. I needed a hot shower.

But I'm too lazy.

I sat onto the sofa with green strips, such an interesting design. Maybe red can bring the color out a bit, made it popped from the cream colored base.

I heard the sound of car engine purring into the driveway. I pulled out the black latex gloves from my back pocket and slide it onto my hands, adjusting it to my comfort. The door nob rattled with the sound of keys chiming outside.

I looked at the wall clock hanging above the main door and smirked. I stood up and walked to the door to greet him, my hands sliding down to my holster for my handgun and I aimed it towards the door that's sliding open.

My victim arrived right on time.

"Well done, Mace. 10 hundred thousands dollars had been banked into your account. We'll contact you when a new client had been situated. " The phone call ended with an annoying beep. I checked my account just to be safe that my money had been stored, and they were.

"Who was that?" Derrick Lance called from behind me. I smiled and walked back to his table, sitting opposite of him and waved him off. "My girlfriend was calling you a delightful man candy."

He scrunched up in disgust and returned to his chocolate milkshake. Derrick, he's the head of weapon supplies in our company. He provided us with a huge genre of weapons from a hand-grenade to combat knives to sniper rifles. He's also a guy who believed in the supernatural. Well, after seeing me morphed from a human to a cat.

"Didn't know your girlfriend will cheat on you for me. Will you put up a fight for love?" He grinned, stirring his drink with his straw. He placed his other elbow on the table while he leaned onto the back of his hand. He looked like a girl waiting for gossips.
