{Chapter 9}

"Girl that was feisty." Leanna says.

"Mhm." I winked.

"Do you know... what happened to Kaylee?" Leanna asked.

"No." I said.

"She's been gone since the day Ryan humiliated us." Leanna says.

"Guys, turn on the news, right now!" Justin and Alfredo runs in.

I quickly grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. We switched to a news channel and there's an ongoing investigation. Kaylee killed herself.

"What? This can't be..." I said.

"Kaylee Longwood, soon to be 19 years old, killed herself. Kaylee allegedly stabbed herself in the stomach right before her parents got home. Authorities is yet to find out if this was an accident or suicide. Stay tuned for more."

"Ariana..." Justin says as he bends down to level.

"What?" I asked.

"You're crying." Leanna said.

"She was my best friend. How I not cry? Yes we got into a fight but that doesn't mean I can't cry over the memories that we had." I cried.

"Shh... babe it'll be okay." Justin kissed me.

"Guys, does anybody know what ever happened to Ryan?" Leanna asked.

"He got suspended when the school staff found out about what he did to us." Alfredo says.

"But didn't he come back on the last day of school?"

"Why are we talking about Ryan?" Justin asked.

"Quiet." I said.

"Well, Ariana, your birthday is this Friday." Justin said awkwardly.

"I know. And my friend just died." I say as I slammed my head on my bed.

"Damn, be careful there." Alfredo says.

"Look, the news is back on!" Leanna said.

"It's been confirmed, Kaylee Longwood, was murdered. Authorities found a heartbreaking letter to her parents. See the letter at website."

"Oh shit. We need to go to this website!" Alfredo said.

Leanna goes on safari on her phone and quickly typed in the website. Leanna looked through the website to find the letter. Shit.

The letter is all crumbly. There's bloodstains at the bottom. It reads...

"Dear mom and dad, I love you both. Ryan did this to me. Ryan Butler. He's the one who killed me. He wants it to look like a suicide. He warned us. Tell Ariana, Justin, Leanna, and Alfredo that they're the next victims. I don't want them to die. I don't want to die. He's here. I love-

And that's where it stops. Ryan is after us now. We all sighed and turned the TV back on.

"We have found Ryan Butler who allegedly was the killer of Kaylee. This happened last night at 8pm. Ryan will possibly be in court. His friends also will be questioned. We have contacted their parents. And we've contacted Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Leanna Paige, and Alfredo Flores' parents."

"Ok shit." Alfredo said.

"So we're definitely going to be questioned." I rolled my eyes.
