Chapter 5: Face to Face

Vanessa's P.O.V

As we pulled up to the stadium, my stomach did back flips. I tried smiling but on the inside, I was scared half to death. What if he spotted me in the crowd?

As we walked up to the ticket booth, Naomi must have noticed my face.

"Hey Noah we are going to the bathroom, we'll be right back." she said pulling me towards the bathroom. When we got there she pulled me inside.

"What's going on with you. You looked like you wanted to puke from Noah told you we were coming to a Chris Brown Concert." she said looking at me. I looked down at the ground.

"Nothing" I nearly whispered.

"Bullshit. Start talking. I thought you love Chris Brown." she said.

"Thats the problem. I love him." I said. She looked at me funny.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"If i tell you this, it stays between us ok?" I said. she nodded her head yes.

"Well remember when I told you I was from Virginia? Well I am from Tappahannock, Virginia." i said.

"So you grew up close to him?"she asked.

"Well a little more than that." I said.

"Ok so.......... what? you guys knew each other?" she asked confused.

"We were best friends." I finally say. She looked at me with shock.

"So .................what happened to you guys?" She asked. I sat on the couch.

"Well I ended up moving away without telling him." I said.

"Why didn't you tell him?"

"I try but he never showed up to my house." I said. I sat in silence and thought.

"At least he won't know I'm here." I said.

"Well.................." she said picking her finger.

"Well what?" I asked nervous.

"I didn't tell you this but, Noah got us back stage passes." she said. I felt my stomach hit the ground.

"What are you going to do?" she asked sitting next to me.

"I'm not going to tell Noah, that's first."

"But he is going to find out."

"That's a problem for later. we are just going to go through the concert just as normal and I will explain everything later." I said. she looked at me unsure but then shook her head yes.

"Alright." she said. we walked out of the bathroom and back to the line and found Noah almost at the front.

"Everything ok?" he asked. I shook my head yes. he smiled and but his arm around me and kissed my cheek. I tried to smile but that didn't get rid of the uneasy feeling in my stomach.

The concert was amazing! I completely forgot about having to face him afterwards. I think he spotted me. he looked in my direction and stopped singing but then he smiled and continued performing. Naomi noticed because she nudged me and gave me a look.

as the concert ended, Noah grabbed my hand.

"There's one more surprise." he said smiling I smiled back and looked at Naomi. she didn't say anything.

"What is it?" I asked but he didn't answer he just smiled. he dug into his pocket and pulled out 3 back stage passes. he put one on me and handed one to Naomi and kept the last one.

"Are these back stage passes?" I asked.

"Yup, come on." He said pulling me. I didn't know what to think, I didn't have time to think. we walked up to a security who looked at our passes and let us in . A small crowd had already gathered but it was clear to see they where surrounding Chris. Before we even had a chance to make it to the crowd, I heard my name.

"Vanessa?" I looked up and saw Chris staring right at me. he smiled when he realized it was me. he walked up to me.

"Vanessa, its- umm- well...................." he stuttered.

"Hi Chris." I finally said. He smiled and hugged me.

"I really missed you." he said squeezing me tighter. I squeezed him back. I didn't want to let him go. I missed his hugs. I missed him.

"I really missed you too." I said, still holding on to him. I finally released him and smiled.

"Look at you all grown up, and more fine than ever." he said causing me to blush. Noah came and wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me close to him. He was holding me so tight it started to hurt.

"Chris, this is my boyfriend Noah and his sister who is also my friend Naomi." I said. Chris' facial expression changed.

"You are a real lucky man to be with Nessa." Chris said causing me to blush. just then some girl came up to Chris.

"Hey Chris, you coming?" she said rubbing his shoulder and talking to him in a seductive voice. I felt a stroke of jelousy come over me. where did that come from?

He licked his lips and smirk causing me to roll my eyes.

"Yh I'll be there in a minute." he said looking her up and down as she walked away. Wait, doesn't Chris have a girlfriend? Calamari, Kalarni, Coochie something like that, but I am sure that's not her. I am snapped out of my thoughts by Chris.

"Here put your number in my phone so we can catch up and talk sometime." he said handing me the phone. I smile and take the phone and put my number in his phone. Noah was now digging into my side but I just tried to ignore it. I hand him back his phone.

"let me put my number in your phone." he said handing for it. I feel my pockets when I remember Noah took my phone. I turned to him.

"Can I have my phone please." I said looking at him.

"Nah. he got your number that's enough." Noah said I looked at him like he had 2 heads.

"That's cool I get it." Chris said.

"Nessa it was really nice seeing you again." Chris said hugging me and Kissing my cheek causing me to blush and then he walked off.

we all walk back to the car in silence. when we finally reach, Noah was the first to talk.

"WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THAT?!?" he yelled.

I was in serous trouble now...............................
