Chapter 2

-Ava

After math class I went to look for Johnny. We have lunch in third together.

"Hey Ava wait up". I heard someone say.

I turned around and it was Ashton walking towards me.

"Yes"?

"I-I just wanted to walk with you".

I laughed a little. "Why would you want to walk with me".

He shrugged. "I mean a beautiful girl shouldn't be walking alone".

That made me blush a little.

"I was looking for my bestfriend but we can walk together if you want to".

He smiled. Wow sparkling white.

We started walking down the hall.

"So how do you like the school"?

"You know I actually like it".

"Well I'm glad you like it. What is your next class"?

"I have chemistry with Mr.Henry".

I smiled. "So do I. I can show you the classroom".

I looked at my mate man she was gorgeous.

'I know she is beautiful'. My wolf said.

I can't believe she doesn't realize we are mates. If she did we probably would have been all over each other. Well not in school but still.

Ava and I were walking to our next class.

"So Ava I have a question"?

"Okay".

"What do you like more werewolves or vampires"?

She laughed a little.

"Oh werewolves for sure they are the best".

"Do you ever think they are real sometimes"?

She stopped and grabbed my arm looking at me.

"Can you keep a secret"?

I nodded. "Sometimes I do think they are real and one day I thought I saw one when I was little. But my mom said I was being over dramatic. Does that make me crazy".

I laughed a little. "Not at all. I believe they are real".

We began walking again. "Why the random question"? She asked.

Damn uhhh

"The new season of teen wolf came out and I know how much girls love that show so I was just wondering".

"Oh". She laughed. "That was really random though".

"Just trying to start a conversation". I said rubbing the back of my head.

Her phone started ringing. She reached in her back pocket and pulled out her phone.

"Could you excuse me for a second".

I nodded and she walked away around the corner.

I know I shouldn't but I used my wolf hearing to see who she was talking to. Shit call me a jealous mate.

"Hello Ava this is the principle from Treys school".

"Is he okay"? She asked worried.

"Well he kinda got in a fight and I couldn't get a hold of your mother. I need someone to come get him".

She sighed. "Okay okay I'll be there".

I leaned on the locker. I wonder who Trey is?

She walked from around the corner.

"Sorry to cut our conversation short but I need to go get my little brother from school".

"Do you need a ride"?

"No it's not far I can walk".

"Yeah I am not going to let you walk. We are friends now right. Friends help each other".

She smiled. "Okay thank you".
