Pokemon Special: Protector's Code

Character Profile

Before I officially introduce Amber, I'd like to give some background info on her Pokémon, because this is my first time writing a fanfic, and I'm not entirely sure how to introduce the Pokémon without overwhelming you guys.

Name: Amber

Gender: Female

Birthday: April 30

Blood Type: A

Eye Colour: amber

Hair Colour: brown

Home Town: Violet City

Region: Johto

Relatives: Crystal (sister), mother

The Team:

Mister (Misdreavus) ♂

Amber’s first Pokémon she received the same time Crystal received her Chumee. Mister primarily specializes in both ghost and psychic attacks, his primary moves being “Shadow ball”, “Pain Split” and “Psychic”. Mister is usually seen outside of his pokéball.

Peach (Pichu) ♂

The Pichu the Gold hatched and is considered as Amber’s starter Pokémon, just as how Yellow’s Pikachu, Chuchu is considered hers. The two coincidently met when Pichu was separated from Gold and she rescued him from a Spearow attack. His primary moves are “Light Screen”, “Protect” “Thundershock” and “Charm”.

Veevee (Umbreon)♀

Veevee had originally been an Eevee when they had first met. She had been neglected by her family and had been left to survive in the harsh wilderness on her own. Her primary moves are “Helping Hand”, “Feint Attack” and “Moonlight”.

Nix (Onix) ♂

Had been abandoned by his trainer and had been aggressive and distrusting of humans until meeting Amber. The two had initially disliked each other with a passion, however after teaming up to save a group of injured Diglett, they had restarted their friendship and had become closer since. His primary moves are “Bind”, “Dig”, “Iron Tail” and “Stone Edge”.

Rillri (Marill) ♀

Rillri had been the odd-one-out in a large family and had been ostracised by her siblings. Because of her large family, her disappearance had been unnoticed. Like Nix, she’d also been distrusting of not only humans, but also other Pokémon afterwards. However, her loneliness had allowed Amber to enter her heart. She is Amber’s “Surf” Pokémon. Her primary moves are “Hydro Pump”, “Defense Curl” and “Blizzard”.

Gligie (Gligar) ♂

Out of all of the Pokémon in Amber’s team, Gligie had the most traumatic experience. He had been used in cruel battles by his previous trainer and occasionally still has instances of traumatic flashbacks. He is still recovering, but with the help of Amber and the rest of the team, he is slowly learning to trust outside of their group. Because of his lack of trust in others besides those immediately close to him, he bullied Peach when he first joined the team, but is slowly mending and is even developing a particularly strong friendship with him. With the help of Mister using “Psychic” to push and create air currents, Gligie is Amber’s “Fly” Pokémon. His primary moves are “Aerial Ace”, “Toxic” and “X-Scissor”.

And this is Amber and her team. Note that the primary moves do not necessarily entail their only moves. All of Amber’s Pokémon are capable of using other moves, however the ones listed above are the most preferred moves and moves that are most often used as “Protector”.

Okay, so one thing: Amber will be based off Lyra/Kotone. I suppose this calls for a disclaimer: I DON’T OWN POKÉMON (AS MUCH AS I’D LOVE TO) AND NONE OF THE SHIPS ARE CANON (EXCEPT RUBY AND SAPPHIRE AND VAGUELY RED AND YELLOW THOUGH THEY ACTUALLY AREN'T CANON). ‘AMBER’ IS JUST A NAME I DECIDED TO PUT ON LYRA/KOTONE. So technically, I only own half of Amber. The character is mine, but the image of the character isn't. I actually don't know how to class this. Furthermore, I always wanted Kotone to turn up, but she's either taking her time, or is never coming, so I made Amber. 

I’m sorry if “Amber” doesn't agree with any of you, but hey, I’m only writing this out of fun. My main story is “When Knowing Means Nothing”. Don’t get me wrong, I love writing that story too, but this is like where I let the fangirl in me out
