After everyone ate breakfast, the impromptu party diparted and Law was finally able to get ready for school.

"Son you know that you could just stay home today. It is your birthday. You could take the day off and go fishing or play video games." his dad said helping clean up the kitchen with his mom. Any other time Law would have taken his dad up on the offer but not today.

"Sorry dad but my mate might be a classmate of mine and i wouldn't want to miss her."Law said putting the last of his books into his backpack.

"There's no rush Law. If you don't find her right away we can always go on a cross country trip sniffing every girl we meet till she appears." Andrew said from their couch. Andrew brought up a good point not every met their mate right on their 18th birthday; his dad met his mom a week after and Andrew was still unmated six months after his birthday. But Law just couldn't shake the feeling that he was going to meet her today.

"Thanks for the offer but we're going to school anyway." he said. Andrew groaned but followed him out the door.

Law drove his truck from his mountain home to the school. He loved the drive to school mostly because how interesting his town was. Riverdale had a very diverse community, vampires, werewolves, witchs, humans, even ghouls were welcomed here. Blood cafes stood next to Taco Bells, churches were beside spell shops and for the most part everyone got along. It made Law happy to know he lived in such a welcoming accepting place. He pulled up to his school and parked. As soon as he pulled up Circe came running at him Vincent in tow," I need your help."she said franticly running her hands through her hair.

"Wow what's wrong?" Andrew said jumping outof the car and running to her side.

"Remember how Lyra just turned 12 and had her magical powers manifested well she decided to show off a new fire spell to her friends this morning and burnt down half the manor," Circe said frustrated," I told her to put a barrier up before attempting any new spells but no one ever listens."

Andrew reassuringly rubbed her back, "Its not your fault Circe. Was anybody hurt?"he asked.

She sighed and started to calm down, "Thankfully no. Lyra and her friends were smart enough to keep their protective charms on and everyone was in the other side of the manor eating breakfast when it happened. But now everyone's bedrooms are wreaked and im gonna have to miss school to help with reconstruction." she said.

"Do you need any help?" Law asked remembering that she had run over to them.

"Oh my god yes. Im sorry my mind is like a hundred places right now. I was supposed to show Vincent around school but they really need me at the manor ASAP. Could you please just show Vincent where things are around here Law?"she asked.

"Vincent isnt going to help?"Law asked.

Vincent blushed slightly," Well since i don't have any magical abilities I would just end up getting in the way."he said bashfully. Law got embaressed, he had completly forgotten that boys can't be witches.

He grabbed Vincent and pulled him towards him,"No worries Circe I'll show Vincent everything he needs to know. Ready to go?" he said talking fast to cover his slip up.

Vincent smiled at him and looked at the ground,"Yeah." he said.

Circe smiled at him gratefully,"You are the best Law. Vivi just stay close to Law and I'll see you at home later." she said before teleporting out of there.

Andrew sighed then looked at Vincent,"Im assuming she forgot to tell her teachers she was leaving."he said. Vincent nodded,"I knew it. Ill go to her classes and get her homework and tell the main office she had a family emergency so they dont give her detention." With that Andrew walked away.
