As soon as they got to the convent both men realized the situation was a lot worse than either of them had thought. Circe had said half the house had burned but it was more like three thirds and lot of the surroundings forest was damaged too.Witches were running around everywhere, some carrying building materials others were casting green magic to make the plants grow back. It was pure chaos and in the center of it all, calling out orders and putting some sense of order into the situation was Circe.

Law had always wondered why they had chosen Circe as the next high priestess but in that moment he understood. Circe had dropped her usual facade of sarcasm and irrelevancy and had a look of absolute authority that Law thought only pack leaders could make. As a werewolf Law understood that some people were born to lead and some were born to follow, Circe had been born to lead this convent.

"She's pretty amazing isn't she,"Vincent said from next to him. His respect and admiration of his sister clear in his eyes.

Law nodded smiling proudly,"What else would you expect from one of my best friends," then he remembered why he had come here and his smile fell slightly," we...we should go see if she needs any help." Without waiting for Vincent's response Law walked away. Vincent had been so happy that the strange wall that had popped up between them had dropped for a moment but felt crushed when it came up again. With a deep sigh he followed after him.

"What do you mean they'll only gave you 5000 ft of flooring we need double that!,"Circe yelled into her cellphone,"well you tell that lazy bitch that I dont care if he has to suck off every flooring store manager in the state, we have a contract stating they'll supply ANY material we'll need in case of a reconstruction so he will be getting us our flooring.... Oh did he now well you tell that little con-man that if he doesnt want to give us our flooring I'll bippid boppidi boo my ass over there and he can say that to my face...That's what I thought. Oh don't forget to have Lyra and her little friends load everything on to the truck themselves, no magic. Thanks again." Circe clicked off and let of a deep tired sigh, it was only then did she notice Law and Vincent standing next to her.

She smiled warily at them,"Hey guys. Thanks Law for dropping my bro off." she said.

Despite coming her with the sole aim of talking to her, seeing how drained she was he was hesitant but he knew that it was very important that he talk to her so he steeled himself. "Circe I need to talk with."he said.

Circe wasn't used to Law talking so seriously, brow raised she said,"Ok go ahead."

Law shook his head," I need to talk to you alone. Its personal." he said unable to even look in Vincent's direction. Vincent gasped a little then walked away. Circe grabbed Law and teleported him him away from the crowd.

"You have exactly one minute to explain what the hell is wrong with you. You just hurt Vincent's feelings." Circe said.

"I found my mate." Law said.

"Congratu-fucking-lations. What the hell does that have to do with you ignoring my baby brother?" Circe said.

"He's my mate."Law said finally looking up at her. Circe saw all the fear, confusion and surprise that Law felt. Circe then understood that weird tension that she felt between them. Law started talking fast," I had no idea what to do. Then I figure your a worldly witch you could just-"

Law couldn't finish his sentence when Circe grabbed him by the collor and jerked him to her,"You fucking selfish son of a bitch. I can't magic away your feeling twords your mate and even if I could, you think that I'm gonna help you hurt my lil bro that way."

Law held up his hands,"Wait who said anything about that. I just wanted advice on how to win over Vincent!" he said.

"Wait...you don't mind that you mate is a boy?"Circe asked releasing him and staring at him dumbfounded.
