Law walking into the kitchen and saw the organized chaos that always happened when the whole pack got together. The older males were busy lecturing the younger generation who were in turn busy stuffing their face with cake. Most of the females were helping his mom because this meeting had gone from surprise morning cake to a breakfast party. Thankfully his mother always made sure they had enough food for the pack on the off chance they all stopped by at once.

"Hello there birthday boy."a sultry voice called to him and Law suddenly felt himself being pushed into a wall. It was a female alpha in their pack, Sara Stone. Most the unmated females in the pack had a crush on him which was flattering but Sara was by far the most aggressive about it. She had made it blatantly clear that she wanted to mate with him it didn't matter to her if it was for night or for life. She was still a year away from her eighteenth birthday so there was no way of telling if she was his life mate or not but he actively prayed she wouldn't be. Not that Sara wasn't pretty, she looked like a raven haired Megan Fox, it was that she never respected his boundaries. While the other girls respected his decision to not date until he found his life-mate Sara would throw herself at him at every opportunity. Like she was doing now. She was practaily shoving her chest in his face,"Thanks for the show earlier, im gonna keep that photo forever. But more importantly have you realized that I'm your soulmate yet?"she asked.

Law tried unsuccessfully to wiggle out of her grasp,"Haha Sara you know that I won't be able to tell until 1:13 p.m. the time I was born." he said desperately looking around to see if anyone would help him. No one was looking at them everyone was too busy stuffing their face with food.

Sara pouted,"Do you really need a silly thing like that to know we're meant for each other. If you want I can show exactly why I'll make a good mate right here right now." she said drawing little circles on his chest with her finger. Out of no where she was suddenly pulled back and was flotting five feet in the air. Law looked to see who his savior was and saw his good friend and the next High priestess of the Riverdale witches Covent, Circe Keerg.

"God Sara there are minors here, they don't need to see all that."she said walking up and putting an arm around Law. Sara glared down at her and opened her mouth to shoot down a stream of expletives but one snap of Circe's fingers and her mouth was magically sealed shut. "Wow Sara that's the most intelligent thing i've ever heard you say." Circe said with a laugh. Most of the young people at the party saw what she had done and join in her mirth. The older pack members were staring at her with panic, it had only been a year since Circe's coven and their pack had signed a peace treaty and most of the older pack members were still distrustful of witches.

"Circe put Sara down. You're gonna get in trouble."Law said worriedly looking around. Law considered Circe one of his best and truest friend which is why he and her had worked so hard to get the treaty signed and end the hostility between their famililes though Circe constantly tested the limits of that treaty like she was now. Just as Law feared his father came rushing towards them.

"Circe using your powers on a pack member is in direct violation of our treaty." he said shaking his head at her. Honestly he expected this kind of thing from her but he still had his position as pack leader to uphold.

Circe laughed,"You mean page 67 paragraph 9 sentence 3 which states; No member of covent may use magic be it physical manifestation of magic or though use of a charm or curse, cause physical harm agaist a member of the Riverdale pack unless their personal safety or the the safety of a loved one is being directly threatened by said member and in this case the magic must be contained to only the member posing the threat."she recited perfectly from memory, she practaily wrote the treaty so she knew it backwards and forwards.

Law's dad growled low in his throat, "If you know the law so well, care to explain the girl floating from my celling." he said making an effort to conceal his frustration.
