3 minutes had passed & the results were in. You picked up the stick seeing the results. You gasped.
"What?" Zonnique asked as she turned around with a worried look on her face.
"You not pregnant, Nique." You said with a sad tone in your voice. "Really?" She snatched the pregnancy test from your hands. "Girl don't be snatching stuff from me, damn."
"Shutup, Yn." She playfully pushed you. "And I am pregnant, dummy. See, it has two blue lines." You looked down at the test then grabbed the box to see what it says.
"Yep, 1 line means not pregnant & 2 means you're pregnant!" You said with lots of excitement then tightly hugged Zonnique.
"I'm so happy, where is my phone." You grabbed Nique's phone off the sink. "Here."
"I'm about to call my parents first."
......
"Hey babe. I have some exciting news." You stood in front of Zonnique recording their conversation over the phone. "I'm pregnant."
She immediately put it on speaker. "You lying."
"Why would I be calling you at damn near 1 in the morning to tell you something as important as anything in your life right now?"
"Yeah you right. I'm going to catch the earliest flight tomorrow so I can see you."
8 A.M. The Next Day......
Loud knocks had woken me out of my sleep. I walked in Zo's room to see her soundly asleep in bed.
I squinted my eyes in annoyance knowing that Zonnique was having sweet dreams while I was having bad headaches and lower stomach pains.
I walker down stairs and opened the door. By me being 5'3, the sun hit my face causing me to (once again) squint my eyes.
Looking up, I seen my best friend, Damien Swann.

"Damien why must you knock so hard? Its," I looked at my digital clock sitting on my coffee table, "8:45 in the morning. Come in, Nique is upstairs in her room."
Before I could close the front door, he gave me an embracing hug. "Thank you so much, Yn."
"You welcome?"
"I really mean it, thanks for being our best friend, hooking us up, planning out Zonnique & I's first date, and just being there through our ups & downs."
"No problem, your baby mama is waiting on you."
Damien's Pov- I walked upstairs to Zonnique' s room to see her peacefully asleep. I walked over to her side of the bed and kissed all over her face.
"Mm." Zo begin to move her face then accidentally hit me. "Ow." She rubbed her eyes then looked at me causing her to gasp.
"Baby! I missed you so much."
"I missed you too, bae." I kissed Zonnique on the lips then broke the kiss. I pulled the covers back & lifted Zo's pajama shirt up immediately kissing her small visible bump.
