Maddie pov

Danny just got home from school, but the strange thing is he was smiling. I haven't seen that in almost 2 years. It's sad, he was perfectly happy and doing great in school and then he just got really serious, started skipping class, and his grades plummeted. Sometimes I wonder what happened to my little astronaut? Maybe i should talk to him after dinner....dinner!! I forgot dinner in the oven!!!

I ran to the kitchen to see jazz cooking. Since when could jazz cook?? It makes me wonder just how much I've missed.

Danny pov

I ran through my front door happy as could be heading straight up to my room to prepare phase 1.

Sam had given me a copy of the photo after school so I could start the plan. Once I finally explained to them in a language they understood. I couldn't say it in english someone might have heard, so instead I tried chinese, korean, japanese, and greek. Finally i tried one more time finally using something they both understood esperanto. I said" mi iros por sendi ilin fotoj de mi igante fantomo. unu tagon por ke mi povas montri al ili, kio okazis malrapide, sed mi ne iros informi ilin kiu sendis la fotojn. do eble ili povas kalkuli ĝin sur sia propra."(I used google translate to put in actual esperanto so hope it's right) that time they gave me two big goofy grins and nodded their heads agreeing with the plan. It's simple but still overly complicated just to annoy them.

I placed the photo into a white unlabeled envelope and wrote one word on it, mystery. I changed into my ghost form and fazed into the lab. Making sure no one is there I tape the envelope to the portal frame and go back to my room to await the confusion.

Maddie pov

After seeing jazz had everything under control I decided to head down to the lab to work on my newest invention. The fenton boots. They are designed to at the press of a button form a battle suit around you. I designed them for danny. He needs some sort of protection, and this way it's discreet. Maybe since it's not ridiculous looking he will like it.

As I exited the stairs and my thoughts came to an end I noticed something odd. I didn't know what to make of it so i decided to wait for jack to get back from the store so we can examine it together
