His Sister

Elizabeth's POV:

I woke up and changed into a red dress. I ran downstairs but couldn't eat. I was too excited. Today was the first day of the holidays! Me and the others had already made plans to visit the beach! I met up with them at the park and we left for the beach. It was a mile or two away but totally worth it! When I was at the park, I didn't see Zeldris or Meliodas, strange, but Ban told me that he got a message saying they would meet us there.

When we finally arrived we all changed into our swimwear and went near the water. We saw a short black haired boy sitting there talking to a black haired girl.

"Zeldris?" Diane called. The two looked back at us and he waved us over. We walked over and sat next to them.

"Guys, this is Guila" he introduced her to us, but I couldn't see Meliodas anywhere.

"Your therapist?" Diane asked. He nodded

"She wanted to check up on Meliodas" he explained.

"Speaking off,where is he?" King looked around us. Zeldris frowned and pointed at some rocks near the cliff.

"He's there"

"Why? I thought you wanted to see him Guila?" Ban asked

"We finished talking, well me and Zeldris have, he didn't talk much but I can't blame him, seeing as what today is" She frowned

"What day is it?" Diane asked

"It's Melody's birthday" Zeldris explained. We all gasped.

"He was always the closest to Melody, and they often hung out together while I chilled with Estarossa. Her death is probably what caused him so much depression, seeing as he did pull through" Zeldris smiled

"Why did he agree to come out today? We wouldn't have minded if he stayed back because of today" Diane said

"He didn't want you to worry about him too much, so.. he insisted on coming and not changing plans. I tried to change his mind this morning" Zeldris looked back over at him and sighed.

"We've both tried comforting him but nothing has worked yet" Guila stated. I looked over at him and frowned. He was sitting with his knees to his chest and his hair was blowing in the wind.

"Why don't we try?" Diane asked

"It's worth a shot!" She exclaimed. She looked at Meliodas and waved but he just turned his head away. We stood up and headed up the rocks. We sat down beside him.

"Nice view huh?" Ban asked breaking the silence. He didn't answer, instead he pulled his legs into his chest tighter.

"Meliodas" Diane sounded upset

"You shouldn't have come captain, we wouldn't have minded" King stated.

"I didn't want to ruin the day for you" his voice was hoarse and it wasn't very loud

"You should think about yourself, we could've went somewhere else or even stayed in for the day" Ban added

"But you all looked so excited to come here"

"And? It could've waited! Your more important to us than a silly beach!" King exclaimed. Meliodas just smiled to himself.

"Meliodas, if you ever want to talk about anything, we're here for you! I would miss school just to make sure your alright" Diane yelled

"Thanks but--"

"I know! How about you tell us about her captain,that will probably make feel better" Ban suggested

"Yeah go on Meli, it will make you feel better" Zeldris smiled. He had joined us but Guila must've left.

"A-alright, she was five years older than me and Zeldris so she would've been 21 today she was also the first person to hold us when we were babies, Zeldris was closer to Estarossa and I was closer to Melody" he took a deep breath like he was trying to hold back tears

"She was an otaku so I guess that's where I picked it up from" he smiled at himself

"Yeah, me and Estrossa would always here you screaming at the TV!" Zeldris laughed

"She was always kind and sweet, that's probably why she was an easy target for Fraudrin" Meliodas looked at the ocean

"She always called me Zeldris but she called you......" Zeldris' voice trailed off

"Meli?" King asked. He nodded

"During his depression,I would sometimes call him that on accident, it always made him worse and I always felt terrible when I did call him that" Zeldris frowned

"It was my nickname for ages so I can't blame you for that" Meliodas looked at him and smiled. It caught everyone off guard!

"Zeldris how did you move on so quickly?" King asked

"Well I was always a pessimist and knew that one day we were all going to die at some point" he pulled Meliodas into a headlock

"This guy though was always optimistic, he hated talking about death and stuff like that so when it all happened I guess he wasn't expecting it"

"No, being the youngest didn't help either, I was always relying on others to help me and when they all suddenly left, i realised how much of an impact they had. I only had Zeldris after that and he didn't know how to comfort me properly because he was going through the same thing"

"Thanks for telling us Meliodas, I know it must be hard on you" Diane comforted

"Yeah, but what shall we do now? I want to stay with Meliodas" Ban explained

"I-I know what we can do" I had an amazing idea. Everyone looked at me as if to ask what I wanted to do

"Let's go back and put an anime on for Meliodas!" I exclaimed

"That's sounds good! That way he can have fun with us!" Ban cheered

"Meliodas, what'd you think?" Zeldris asked and looked at him

"Sure" he stood up and smiled

"Let's go back to ours!" Zeldris exclaimed. We all went back to theirs to watch some anime! I'm not sure the others were that excited but I couldn't wait to watch some!
