Warning this chapter is going to be kinda sad, but there is a reason for that. Anyways, you will see once the plot plays through.
Mark's POV
Jack had told me about conventions several times, he told me specifically that this one was going to be huge. I asked him a couple times if I could come with him and he told me no. Mainly due to the fact he was afraid I would get lost or stolen. While I usually adhere to his warnings I really wanted to go with him, so I prepped myself and my stuff to travel.
I waited for Jack to go into the other room to grab something before I unzipped the front pocket and climbed in, zipping it back up was a struggle but I eventually managed. I placed a folded piece of paper in the zipper so I still had a bit of airflow. I held a mini flashlight to my abdomen and waited for this long journey to begin.
I started to nod off but was jolted out of sleep by Jack lifting his bag up abruptly. Since he didn't know I was in his bag I knew that this ride would be extremely bumpy. I heard engines outside of the fabric as well as talking although I couldn't make out the words. However, once some yelling commenced I knew something must've been wrong. I heard what sounded like a large object hitting hard ground before gravity shifted and I felt a pressure above me.
After a few moments of silence I felt the bag get grabbed and gravity get super fast paced. I was being thrown around in the pocket, I lost my grip on the flashlight and it slung around before rebounding and hitting me in the face knocking me out.
I woke up with a massive headache, the surface below me feeling a bit different, but being surrounded my darkness the only thing I could think of was letting my eyes adjust and try to find the flashlight. When my eyes adjusted to the darkness I realized I wasn't in the pocket anymore, I started to walk around but ended up hitting a see through wall. I backed away, I began to feel the glass to determine the surface diameter. After a few minutes I realized that I was in a circular glass container. I am guessing it is a turned over cup as the ground beneath me felt like wood.
'I have to get out of here.' I thought to myself, I tried to push it but it didn't budge, I then backed into one point of it before ramming my body into it, this tipped it over sending me and it onto the ground, since it was glass it broke and I ended up landing on a shard of glass, a red liquid poured from my arm, I covered it with my right hand and began to run.
I ran until I found cover from what looked like a desk however it being pitch black it was very difficult to tell. I was able to stop the bleeding before a door swung right open and light flooded into the room. I watched the feet walk from the door to the table I was on, they examined it and turned on their heels before leaving, I ran towards the doors location and slipped under it.
Once regaining my posture I looked around the dimly lit hallway, the walls looked old and rusted. The ground beneath me felt moist and it reeked of a metallic scent. I looked to my left and saw a bright light move towards me so I dashed towards my right sliding into a crevice in the wall. I saw the light then a pair of legs move past me, when I peeked out I saw a ashed haired man in a suit leaving. I then slowly made my way to the area he entered from and saw another long hall full of cells. A cold breeze blew past me and all the lights went out, an uneasy feeling set within my gut as I pushed myself to walk forward to one of the cells.
Inside of the cell was a chair that was equipped with binds, it looked like it had been used several times before, however at this time it was vacant. The next three cells were also vacant, however, they contained other equipment. I finally approached the second to last cell, I was met with a light that kept flickering, it was the only light left in this damned place, every time the light flickered on I was met with several different details. The first few were an arm dangling from a table, a similar bag, and finally a bruised face with green hair, that I instantly recognized as Jack.
A/N I wanted to add a small twist to this story, as it seems I always do this haha, also cliffhanger. I assure you that this is going to make sense soon. ;3
