Rosé was on Facebook and it was no surprise; she was addicted to the site. She constantly had to know everything about everyone.

She tucked some of her soft brown hair behind her ear and scrolled through her timeline, looking at everyone else's interesting lives, the selfies at cliff edges and seasides and city streets. The food they ate, the people they saw. She knew more about her friends than she did about herself.

She wished to be interesting. Her timeline had a limited amount of selfies and statuses. She never went anywhere so she never had a reason to share pictures of what she was eating or the people she met.

She also wished she had someone to call her own. Her best friend Jennie had a boyfriend who took her on cute dates to sushi restaurants and funfairs and bought her bracelets.

She sighed, closing her laptop and leaving her room. She needed to get out of the house instead of feeling sorry for herself.

She sent a quick text to Jennie, despite already knowing the answer.

Rosé🥀: Wanna meet up for coffee??

She grabbed her purse and her phone and left the house for the first time in three days. A walk and a quick shop in the supermarket was badly needed.

Then, her phone dinged, the reply surprising her.

Jennie🌷: sure! meet you in a few💞

Guess the shopping trip would have to wait Rosé thought, heading in the other direction towards the coffee shop.

"Hey!" Jennie greeted her friend with a massive hug "How are you girl?"

"I'm good, how are you?"

Jennie smiled "I'm great! I'm sorry, we haven't seen each other in ages, it's my fault-"

Rosé cut her off "Its okay! Love is hard to find, you need to experience it as much as you can! It's totally fine!"

Jennie gave her a grateful smile "What would I do without you?"

"You'd manage" Rosé laughed "Anyway, what do you want?"

"Uhh, just a normal coffee. Here..." she fished out some money only for Rosé to stop her.

"It's okay! I'll pay" she ran to the counter before Jennie could stop her.

The girl behind the counter gave her a warm smile "What would you like lovely?"

"An americano and a cappuccino please"

"Coming right up!"

Rosé couldn't help but stare at the girl, she was very pretty. Petite, but gorgeous. She looked Korean and she had sparkly eyes.

Rosé identified as bisexual. She usually was found with boys however she couldn't deny that girls were beautiful and she could see herself having a future with either.

The girl handed her the two cups with a smile and told her to have a nice day. Rosé couldn't help but smile at her words and respond kindly.

"Here you go" she pushed the cup towards Jennie

"You didn't have to pay!"

Rosé chucked "its fine!"

Yes yes, Kat has another new story, I'm full of inspiration lately, oops??
I'm extremely looking forward to this oh my god I really hope you enjoy this!
I wrote this chapter while listening to hopeless fountain kingdom; Ashley's voice is so beautiful tbh.
And also, this isn't a Blackpink fic, but yes my protagonist and best friend are the Rosé and Jennie from Blackpink ;)
Don't worry, Ashley will be here soon! I have this entire story planned out, which is a first for me, I usually write as I go along lol.
We'll see how this goes anyway.
