(MIKA’S POV)

             Isang sinag ng araw mula sa bintana ang nagpagising sa akin. When I looked at the clock it’s exactly 10am.

Mika: What?!

             Diretso akong napabangon at nilingon si Tin sa kabilang kama. But surprisingly, she’s not there. Agad akong napapunta sa banyo to check on her but no one was there.

Mika: Where is she?

             Bumalik naman ako sa kama ko at hinanap ang cellphone ko. Nagtagpo ang mga kilay ko when my phone was turned off. Last time I checked this, on naman ah? I turned on my phone and dialed Tin’s number.

Mika: Tin! Where are you?

Tin: I’m with a friend. Nagkita kasi kami accidentally here kanina.

Mika: Teka, di ba we still have a pictorial?

Tin: Haven’t you read my note for you?

Mika: Note?

Tin: Yeah, I left it on your side table.

 

             Napatingin naman ako sa side table ko and saw the note.

“No pictorial today.”

 

Mika: Okay. I got it Tin.

Tin: Okay. But if you need a companion, just call me.

Mika: I’ll be okay. Just enjoy there. Bye Tin. *hangs up*

             I’m still holding the note when I ended the call. Napaupo ako sa kama at napahiga ulit when I received a text from Tin.
