4 day time skip

During my finals I couldn't focus, my mind was spinning everywhere. My mind would float off to Sam coming to see me, and of course even the thought of that made me smile wide. I tapped my pen on the table, trying to focus but no matter what I couldn't think clearly.

After what seemed like hours of working I finally neared the end of my workbook. I put my head down to rest a while seeming because I had no sleep last night.  The bell rung which signified that everyone was done testing. I immediately grabbed my books and headed out the door to the cafeteria

Peachy Ava🍑🔥: my brain is fried rip me

Half a rick 👌🏻😏: finals were today?

Peachy Ava🍑🔥: yes and I want to kmssss

Half a rick👌🏻😏: I'll be here tomorrow fam

Peachy Ava🍑🔥: I honestly can't wait like we can do all the stuff best friends do now

Half a rick👌🏻😏: does this mean we get to go into Forever 21 together now

Peachy Ava🍑🔥: yes 😏😏

I shut my phone off as I heard the ground rumbling, my cheap cafeteria tray sloshed around the table. I looked around and everyone started to panic. Girls were screaming while their purses slammed to the floor and belongings starting to spill out. Guys were clinging onto their friends and trying to keep balance. My head started to feel dizzy and i crept to the ground, hoping it would provide me with a sense of security. But as soon as it came, it stopped. Everyone looked confused. Some kids were grabbing onto their stomachs and trying not to gag.

My phone started ringing in the midst of the drama. I clicked on the green "accept call" button and didn't even think to look at who it was  "H-hello" I managed to get out, I was still shocked at what happened and my voice was still shaky  "Ava! What happened? Are you ok? You seem like you are crying. Did anyone do something to you?" My best friend's voice seemed faded and far away due to the fact we were so far away from each other and the connection was quite poor  I explained the situation to Sam and she seemed quite calm despite the fact that a random, uncalled mini earthquake just happened

"You don't have to be afraid in 3 days I'll be here with you Ava, there'll be nothing to worry about"

And with that sentence, I ended the call
