Bella
I wake from a damn good sleep to what sounds like someone trying to bang my front door down. Whoever it was either had big news or just wanted to fucking die.
The banging continues so maybe it was the second one. I let out an annoyed growl and drag myself out of my comfy bed. I shuffle to the front door. The closer I get, the louder the fucking banging is. Annoyed, I grab the door handle and thrust the door open, not caring that the look on my face is murderous. Especially when I see who it is.
Rosalina Fucking Peters. So it was the second option after all. This miserable bitch had to have a damned death wish to show up on my doorstep.
"You!" I practically hiss at her. "What the hell do you want?!"
My hand twitches toward the pocket knife that my dad had laying on the end table next to the door. I don't have a good feeling about her showing up randomly at my house. "You've got one minute to explain why you're here before I call the cops!" I hear myself say.
"I'm the one who should be calling the cops on you!" She practically screams. I notice for the first time that she looks as if she's been crying. Not that I cared.
   "What are you talking about?"
    "Brendan!"
The name hits me hard. Brendan Chance. He had been my best friend. We were unbreakable. Or so I had believed. Things went horribly wrong once Zachary Dawson, also part of my past, had gotten involved.
Long story short, Brendan got a little too gun happy with that weapon we call his mouth. Zachary got tired of it and told me to leave him alone. And Brendan did.
I hadn't associated with Brendan nor his whiny little girlfriend since that day. So I can't figure out why Rosalina is at my door.
   "What about Brendan?!"
   "He's dead! You killed him!"
I feel like someone has just kicked me as hard as they could in my chest. I can't breathe. Had I heard her right? Brendan.... was dead?
    "What?!"
     "Drop the act!"
    "I'm not acting!"
"You may have everyone else thinking you're innocent, but you can't fool me, Rusher!"
Okay, she was totally delusional. I mean I had already known that, she really didn't have to prove it. I was still trying to process the news. Brendan was gone. But how exactly was that my fault?
"I have no idea what you're talking about, penis breath, but keep talking to me like that and you can join him!"
She opens her mouth to say something else, when suddenly, we are no longer alone.
My stomach lurches. I'd recognize that royal blue SUV anywhere.
    Sam.
This day just keeps getting better and better.

Sam

The first thing I see when I pull into Bella's driveway is Bella and Rosalina looking like they were fixen to rip each other's throats out.
"Dude." Logan says from the passenger seat the second he sees Rosalina.
Logan Baker is the only one who knows about my ability besides my family. He's the only one I trust.
My blood runs cold. "We're too late."
    "We don't know that, Sam."
"Logan, why else would she be here? I mean, they're not exactly best buddies."
"I know." He says, as we rush out of the car.
I actually look at Bella this time. I am struck with awe. To say she has changed would be an understatement.
I hadn't seen her in over a year. So much about her was different. She no longer looked like that scared little girl I had met in my vision. Now there's a grave woman standing in front of me.
She had dyed her hair to black. I couldn't help but think it looked better than her natural color. She'd grown taller. She had grown into her features, I'll leave it at that. She had a fearless look to her now.
And Miss Fearless happened to be glaring at me. She was not happy to see me. Not that I could blame her.
We'll get to why I'm on Bella's probably miles long shit list later. Trust me, with Bella, it'll get brought up at some point.
"Sam?!" She said. But she doesn't sound as angry as she looks. She sounds shocked. She acts as if I've just risen from the dead. But to her, maybe I have.
I don't expect her to move towards me, so I am not a bit surprised when she doesn't. Bella had never been one for physical contact.
"Bella, I know I'm popping up out of the blue."
"Yeah, you're not the only one." She interrupts him, throwing daggers in Rosalina's direction. Well, at least she looks happier to see me, if only by a little.
Logan is next to step up. "Bella, we think something bad has happened to Brendan, or is going to happen."
The muffled son that come from Rosalina answers that question. They're too late.
Which means Brendan just became the first person I was unable to save.
"He's gone! And she killed him!" She practically spite the words at Bella.
"What makes you think that?" I say, unable to recognize my own voice. I didn't like where this was going.
"Because she kind of sold herself out in the note she left!"
"Note? Why the hell would I leave a note if it  se me who had killed him? I'm not a fucking idiot."
Rosalina yanks her phone out of her pocket.
"You bitch! I have a picture of the note right here!"
She pulls up a picture on her phone and shoves the phone in her face. Not her smartest move. Never get in Bella's face. Ever.
She smacks the phone out of Rosalina's head. At least that's what she would have done if Logan hadn't stepped in and taken the phone from Rosalina. He studies the picture.
I look over his shoulder and I see an image of a note.
It says: "You should have known that I'm not to be fucked with.-Bells."
I knew the second I looked that she didn't write that note. It wasn't her handwriting. And well, like she said, she wasn't that stupid.
I knew it wasn't her handwriting but it wasn't Cameron's either and I'd recognize his anywhere.
I was trying to figure it out when I noticed the spooked look on Bella's face. It looked as if she recognized it.
   "Bella?"
She looked as if she were going to pass out. Had I been wrong about it not being Cameron's handwriting? There's only one person in the world that she's scared of and that's him.
"Bella?" I ask, confused. "What's wrong?"
    "That's not my handwriting."
"And it's not Cameron's." Logan says, much to my dislike.
Bella gives Logan a confused look but pushes it aside and says "No. But I do recognize it."
It was then that I remembered the unknown accomplice I had seen in my vision. If she knew who it was, then we would be one step ahead.
     "Who is it?"
Bella looked at the note again. She looked back up, a mixture of fear and pure hatred in her blue eyes.
    "Nate Golds wrote this note."
I think all three of our hearts dropped to out stomachs.
Cameron Pierce and Nate Golds working together meant one thing.
All hell was about to break loose. And I didn't need a vision to tell me that they weren't gonna stop until Bella was dead.
