They walk up the stairs and go into the first room on the new floor. Sal opens the door and wishes them good luck as they walk in. And closes it. The first thing they see is a note on a table in a big room. There is a big box in the middle with even more notes, and 3 hourglasses.

The note says, "There are three doors out of this room, all are set up the same and go into other rooms with puzzles. Each person will have to get to the end of 3 rooms, but only the first 2 will be let out. The first clue waits on the box, and each person must take an hourglass to know how much time is left. You will have 30 minutes to get to the end. The first person will get one clue and the second will get another clue. The third person will however get locked in there and poison gas will be let down and kill them. But if time runs out and nobody get through, you all die. Good luck. Time starts when you open up the first door."

"Well, I guess this is it. Good luck." Jack says.

"Good luck." Kevin adds

"May the best man win." Carl says with a smirk.

They all grab the clue and an hourglass, and all three doors open, they run in and start solving the puzzle. They run inside the room and there's just a candle.

The clue says, "For all my life i've been wanting to dance, but my parents said no and put me in the blackness. I still tried and they ended my B.E.A.T. They made me dance no more. Where darkness is, there lies my B.E.A.T. Find it and unlock my box to proceed."

So they knew that the candle was there to find it.

"What is her B.E.A.T?" Jack asked.

Then Jack and Kevin grabbed the candle holder and put the candle on it. They started to look in the same place, the ceiling. While they were looking, Carl was still trying to understand it. And when he got it, he blew out the candle. Kevin and Jack found a box in a corner. It was a letter lock. They put in B.E.A.T. And they got a key to the door. They unlock it and the first door slams shut. They run into the second room to find another clue on the wall above a table.

This one says, "A child dreams of one day reaching the stars, but they don't understand how dark it is there. And there is no way to show a child this. If there was, it would be written in the stars. Find out the code in the stars. Look in the darkness that a child won't understand."

As Kevin and Jack realise the only way to make it dark is to close the door. Carl finally finds the box and puts in the code. He gets the key and drops it. But Kevin and Jack close the door and the ceiling turns into a night sky. With the code, "1101" written in them. They let go of the door, and put in the code. The next door opens but the last one closes. Carl finds the key and gets into the next room. Kevin and Jack get to the last room and realise that there's a round hole in a table. And it's about the same size as the hourglass. They put it in there and a drawer opens. With the next clue in it.

It says, "There once was a king and a queen that ruled over their people. They weren't very nice people, townsfolk would call them tyrants instead of royalty. They executed 13 people in one day and 4 got away. They wanted 10 more but everyone else was already gone. Find the amount of people they wanted and be free."

"This is easy. It's simple math." Jack said as Carl got into the final room.

Kevin was a brainiac in school so he immediately got it. Jack got it a few seconds after and he put in 27, they both got a clue for the Kitchen lock from the table.

Since Carl was right on their tails with the puzzle, he put in the number and got poison gas released. The last door opened for Kevin and Jack. They saw each other and sighed and ran down the stairs to the Family Room to vote again.
