"Wait, what do you mean she made you throw this party? How do you know that." Jack asked
"In the letter, she said that, she made him give me the house and she said she wanted new 'toys'. Meaning us. She basically said that she knew I would do this, so that basically means she made me throw this somehow."
"Well, maybe she'll tell us when we beat her." Cassandra says
"Let's not worry about that right now. Right now we need to worry about this." Jack says as he points to the mat. "We don't have the chalk or a gem and someone already died."
"Hey guys, there's something on the back of the paper!" Sally says to the group.
They gather around once again as she starts to read, "The first realm is somewhere not too hot nor too cold, for it isn't able to be explained, is it black and white, or full of color? Find it where the little ones would be found everyday. ~ The Watching Woman"
"Where the little ones would be found everyday? What does that mean?" Alex asked.
"Where would kids be found all the time?" Sarah asks
"My little sister is always outside in the back of the house." Cassandra says.
"And my nephew is always in his room." Joseph says.
"Let's split up. Half of us go to the back, while the rest go upstairs to the rooms." Kevin says.
They all agree and split into 2 groups. Alex, Joseph, Lily, Sarah, and Kevin go to the backyard. While Alice, Zeke, Jack, James, Sally, and Cassandra go upstairs. They took the extra person because it would be easier to cover more rooms.
Sally's group goes upstairs and finds a hallway with 3 doors on each side, and a little room full of toys. They each take a door, and open it. Each room looks primarily the same. But the room that Zeke has, was different from each room. His was black and white, whereas all the other rooms were colorful.
"Hey guys, I think I found something." Zeke shouts down the hall.
Everyone comes running to his room and when they enter, they see what he means. But nobody has found anything else. So they look through all of these rooms and find nothing.
Kevin's group makes their way to the back of the house with lanterns. And when they get back there, they see a chest with a lock on it. They get closer and see that there is a note on top of the box.
"The one with the key cannot be seen from your view. They simply are not here . To find them, you must play the right key on the trumpet hidden in the foliage while another chants the incantation found with it."
So they break off to look for the trumpet in the plants and Joseph finds a piece of paper wrapped around a part of the trumpet. They grab the trumpet and take the note off. Alex grabs it and plays the trumpet because she used to do that in school, and they left Lily to say the incantation.
"Tilu Emala Edu Samunio" Lily says three times while Alex plays the same note on the trumpet. And a big cloud of smoke appears coming from the forest, there is a slight whirring sound coming from the cloud. And out walks a small, old man.
"What is it you want now?" He says looking down. "Oh. I'm so sorry, I thought you were someone else, my apologies, I am Maxwell. Now, what did you call for?" He says
"We need the key for this box." Joseph says to Maxwell while pointing to the chest.
"Good thing I always have it right here." He says as he grabs a necklace hanging around his neck. He walks over and unlocks the chest. He turns around and slowly walk back towards the smoke. "I'll be right back." He says as the smoke envelopes him. And no less than a minute later he comes back and gives them a piece of paper, and walks back into the smoke as it disappears.
The guests go to the chest and open it up. Inside they find a small black and white box.
The group upstairs sends Cassandra downstairs to go get the others, they grab the cube and run inside and upstairs. When they get up to the hallway, they see every room trashed. Except for one room. And it's the room everyone's gathered around. The black and white room, but something's different. The bed has a giant vase coming out of it. They go to the vase and look at the top, the shape resembles a box, it's the same size of the box Kevins group found.
"Is this supposed to go in there?" Kevin asks as he holds the box in the air.
"Try it out." James says.
Kevin puts the box into the vase and a chest opens. They all go to the chest, and see jester hats. And a note.
