"I thought we lost you, like we did mom and dad..." Darry choked out. Darry never cried, no not at the funeral of mom and dad... but now. "You sure look funny" Darry chucked " Let's go home kid-brother."

We walked to his Ford truck. I fell asleep in the truck. Then we arrived at home, oh how I missed home. Darry picked me up and took me inside.

"He's getting a little to big to be carried don't ya think?" Soda chuckled out.

I woke up in Soda's and mine's bed. My head hurts but I don't want Darry to notice. I think I'm the first one up; I'll make eggs then. I took the eggs and frying pans and started to cook.

"Anyone home?" I recognized those two voices.

" Don't slam the door!" I chimed. Then they slammed the door. No one ever listens to me...

"Ponyboy hey!" Two-bit grabbed me from behind and twirled me around. I still had the frying pan PLUS THE EGGS in my hand.

"MY EGGS!"I screamed at Steve and Two-bit. Now my eggs are on the clock and floor. Steve tried to make up for the eggs incident by hugging me. "You two clean the egg mess!" I demanded.

"Fine" they both whimpered. I still love them.

Soda just got out of the shower when Steve asked where Soda and Super dope (Darry) was.

Darry swiftly ran to Steve and spun him in a circle.

"Super what?" Darry questioned Steve.

"All broad no brain," Steve muttered so softly so Darry doesn't hit him. Steve walked to bathroom when Soda called out.

"Darry? Have you seen my work shirt?" Soda said

"In my closet I ironed them." Darry responded from the kitchen.

"Hey. I think you need to wear pants to buddy. There's a law or somethin',"Steve looked at Soda.
