Pain.
It seemed to be the only thing I had been feeling lately. Again and again, blow after blow, day after day. It never stoped, I was stuck in an endless circle of pain. There was no escape.
I flinched as my father raised his hand agian, ready to hurt what was left of my bieng. Ready to break me more than I was aready broken.
Things never used to be like this. We used to be a good family, one with smiles and love, I don't know what happened. Maybe I've been doing something to anger them? But what could I have possibly done to deserve this, every single day? I will never understand.
I hit the ground as my dad's fist collided with my stomach. I heard him shouting something at me, but I couldn't hear what it was. All I could hear was anger, pure hatred for me, and only me.
I figured he wanted me gone, he usually did. He was done with me for now.
I tried to get up, only to be knoked down again by the hurt of his last blow. He laughed.
I managed to get to my feet and with the help of the wall, I got to my room and locked the door. It was over for now.
I sat on my bed, lifted my shirt up and looked in my closet mirror, only to find the obvious bruise my dad had left on me starting to mix in with the others. Tears started to form in my eyes. This is stupid, I should be used to it by now, yet I still find myself crying almost everyday because of it.
When will this end? I thought to myself as a tear rolled down my cheak. This had been going on for so long, I was traped. I had only one place to call home, and it sure wasn't here.
I pulled out my phone and dialed the only number I cared about. It rang for a few seconds before I heard the familier voice I loved so much.
"Hey Phil, what's up?"
"Dan, I'm coming over."
Dun dun dun!!! I'm super sorry if this isn't the best or if it's SUPER depressing. I was feeling very angsty when I wrote it, but I've had the prompt idea for a while now so I thought "hey, why not do it now?" So... yeah! Here is the very fist chapter to my very short phanfiction!!! This is my first chapter fic, and my first time writing about anthing like this ever lol, so feedback would be lovely!!!
