I wore my cute sundress.

Got my parasol.

Left the door open.

I heard the birds chirping,

The dogs barking.

Even traffic,

Sounded Amazing.

It was just a perfect day.

A day like no other.

It seemed like,

All my cares,

Floated away.

As I walked the streets,

I saw a flower shop.

I went in,

Purchased,

A yellow flower.

As I turned to leave.

There I saw you.

With your beaming smile

Your contagious laugh,

You tried to say Hi.

But I didn't

Give any reply.

A bit confused,

You left.

Without,

Any clue.

You know,

as I walked.

The streets to

The park.

A tear,

Escaped

My eye.

Pictures.

Songs.

Replayed in my mind.

I shrugged,

Hoping,

No tears,

Will leave my eye.

As I enter The park.

I remembered,

Our talks.

Joys.

Ofcourse the pain.

Two birds of the same feather

They say.

We were happy.

We were perfect.

They thought.

We were perfect

You know when we met,

Last summer,

At the Park,

I tried

To give you my heart.

But it was like,

You read my mind,

You stopped me.

You gave me,

A yellow flower.

Told me,

This is us.

This is ours.

Our friendship.

My heart tore.

Ripped, broke.

But I received it.

Thanked you.

Told you,

I'll try.

To make it live

Forever.

But I know,

It can't be.

As I went back

Home.

From the park,

I decided to Leave the

Yellow flower.

At the park,

Where it should

Remain.

To whilt.

Cause I know,

Everyday, Is not

A perfect day.

I need to enjoy it.

Like the world,

Will seize today.
